We stayed in the Wellfleet room on the top floor. There was not a hair out of place in the whole inn. Everything was absolutely perfect. There were different fresh pastries and/or cookies along with lemon aid and fresh, cool lemon-mint water every time we went down stairs. We woke up early every morning to catch breakfast, wish is a three course ordeal- totally worth waking up for. Our room was beautiful. It is easily the best B&B I've ever been to, I wanted for nothing. Yvanna was always there for us if we needed anything, bless her heart- she was wonderful.

Room Tip: Wellfleet is a beautiful room with a view of the church next door, and it has a jacuzzi tub.

My girlfriend and I, visiting from Ireland, stayed in the Captain Freeman Inn for three nights last week in the Yarmouth room. From the minute we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Ivana, a Serbian girl, who could not have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was beautiful, in a traditional style, and had everything you could ever need. The reception room was lovely and freshly baked cookies, peppermint chocolates, cordial and water were all available compliments of the inn throughout the day. Breakfast each day was beautiful, served on an outdoor terrace each morning with a different selection available each morning. It is obvious the owners have out a lot of effort into the inn, providing guests with an extensive and detailed selection of recommended restaurants in the vicinity. Brewster is a wonderfully peaceful town, ideally located in my opinion for exploring the outer cape. The superb rail trail is nearby as is the gorgeous breakwater beach. I would return to the captain freeman inn in a heartbeat.

Captain Freeman Inn was more than we expected with top notch service, delicious breakfast, a large air conditioned room, a jacuzzi tub, and an appealing swimming pool with a beautifully landscaped yard. The Inn is just about a half mile walk to a local beach and within short driving distance to many other beaches on the cape! We had an amazing weekend in Brewster!

We had a great time on Cape Cod thanks in part to Captain Freeman Inn. Clean and beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, afternoon snacks and complimentary sherry! Just a short walk from one of the best beaches on the cape.

I tried to think of something negative to say for constructive criticism but I really can't!

We chose this Inn as we wanted to bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail and it is close (15 minute walk) to the bike rental shop and a trail access point. The Captain Freeman Inn turned out to be a true hidden gem. Wonderfully restored and decorated, it exudes country charm. The Inn is situated in a beautiful spot, a quick walk to the beach, but central for so many other activities. Donna greeted us on arrival and was a wonderful hostess, showing us to our room and around the common areas. From a fantastic, freshly prepared breakfast, to decadent afternoon tea, to waters and coffee throughout the day, you will want for nothing. Our room was also incredible. Situated on the third floor it was private, relaxing, and peaceful.
Donna and Byron split their time between this Inn and their other property. Our only regret was that we never met Byron - they have a young European lady who is serving as Inn keeper - while she is very cordial and accommodating, she lacks local knowledge and is slightly reserved - having more of Donna and Byron around would have been better, particularly at breakfast on our first day when neither was around - this was a minor matter, and certainly didn't spoil our enjoyment.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Captain Freeman's Inn and had a wonderful time. The service provided by Donna, Byron and Harrison was amazing. They really go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The inn is well maintained and was very clean. And I must say the breakfast was incredible. If you are looking to head to Cape Cod I highly recommended Captain Freeman's Inn. We plan on visiting again in the future.

This was my first trip to Cape Cod and the Captain Freeman Inn made it a magical experience! The inn is so beautiful from the formal parlor to the breakfast and tea room. The breakfasts were truly gourmet! The creme brûlée French toast is a dish I'll always remember. Both Byron and Donna are incredibly helpful suggesting restaurants and things to do in the area. The inn is located within minutes of Breakwater beach, Brewster Fish House, Chillingsworth, and many antique shops. It's the perfect quaint New England town that is still close to key locations. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, air conditioned, and named after surrounding towns. I highly recommend staying at the Captain Freeman Inn! It was a wonderful experience and I plan on returning.
