“Awesome Old Manse Inn”

Great place to unwind. This excellent Inn feels like you have stepped back in time, yet the accommodations are first rate and contain all the amenities of a top shelf bed and breakfast. We stayed for four days and the gourmet breakfasts were amazing. The owners make you feel so welcome and were always asking if there was anything we needed to make our stay more enjoyable. The atmosphere is laid back with a lovely porch and beautiful gardens to rest and relax. Loved the location: a twenty minute walk from the beach and great restaurants nearby. They also provided bikes to explore the area. Loved it

Room Tip: Dont think there is a bad room This was a family reunion so we partied in several at various price p...

I hardly know where to begin. This is a Jewel of a Bed & Breakfast from every perspective. It is a beautiful respite from the routine and mundane. If you've never been to the Cape before it's location is perfect for exploring the entire area. Our hosts Charlie and Brian are extraordinary; they have paid attention to EVERY detail. All the features and appointments to your room are done with a keen eye to accommodating every need, from comfy and premium quality bed linens to fragrant soaps and lotions to luscious towels and bathrobes. Our breakfast each morning was delicious and pretty. I loved the fresh cranberry pancakes! Beach chairs, bikes, beach towels, anything you forgot to bring, don't worry! I also loved the coffee bar on every floor, to make a quick cup every morning and the cookies OMG!!!! Sherry in the evening too.....I'm not kidding nothing is left out! Whether your interests are beaches, exploring the wonderful history of the area or just pure relaxation and comfort it is here at The Old Manse Inn. Mother/Adult Daughter Vacation

My husband and I stayed 2 nights (June 7-8, 2014) for a getaway and to celebrate his upcoming birthday (50!) While making our reservation, we mentioned this and also that we wanted to bike on the trails there. Charlie and Brian could not have been better hosts. They left a birthday balloon and treat in our room, provided bikes for us to use, served us delicious breakfasts and made sure the cookie jar was always stocked for a midday (or midnight) snack. They pointed us in the right direction for beaches and places to eat, and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring that we were enjoying our visit to Brewster and their inn. Add to that a beautiful, spacious room (we had the Vineyard Room), with a Jacuzzi tub to soothe our muscles in after the 30 mile bike trip, and the most luxurious bed sheets ever, and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We feel so lucky to have found the Old Manse Inn.
Brian and Charlie took very good care of us. They were so sensitive to my food issues,Brian had to remind me that I better not have the baked eggs as they were made with dairy products. Our room was wonderful. Where do you ever find two comfortable chairs in one room? Someone always has to sit on the bed. Loved the location. Since we had no car we could walk to different sites and it was just fine.
Hope to see you again in the fall.
Hope we can get a reservation!

Just came back from a long weekend at the Old Manse Inn. It was our second stay there, but our first with the new owners Brian and Charley. It was better than ever. They have been redecorating and renovating the place, making it a little more upscale without losing its country charm. Fluffy robes await you in your room as well as a keurig on each floor with cookies. The living room has complimentary sherry or port and plenty of room for sitting and conversing. The old game room still offers chess and shut the box games, but there is now a piano with comfortable chairs for reading or whatever. Smooth jazz plays throughout the inn. the outside porch was great for morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. Our favorite room, The Captain's room was booked and we had to settle for the Garden room, nice but a little smaller and not yet renovated. Breakfast was superb. Possibly the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. Brian and Charley were a delight. Friendly, caring and always available to our questions or requests. We wish them the very best. Plan on returning soon. One of our all time favorites have gotten even better. Their dog Rufus was also fantastic, so cute. They brought him in at our request, we love dogs

Room Tip: Choose either The Captain's Room or one of the suites.

My husband and I stayed at the Old Manse Inn at the beginning of June, 2014. It was a little getaway to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversay and my husbands birthday. I could not have picked a better place. I did lots of surfing on the web and reading reviews and I am so glad I chose this Inn. Brian and Charlie were extremely welcoming from the moment we arrived. Brian had even called to check on us while we were driving. We had hit quite a bit of traffic and arrived later than expected. We stayed in the Garden Room. The room was lovely. We were surprised to find balloons and yummy chocolates waiting for us to celebrate both occasions. That was truly an unexpected surprise and something that makes these 2 innkeepers stand out.....that attention to detail. The Garden Room was lovely. I loved the furnishings in the room. The BR was a little small but certainly adequete and immaculate. I cannot say it strongly enough, the entire Inn was so amazingly clean. We spent our first breakfast morning out on the porch at Charlie's suggestion. It was wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine along with a fabulous breakfast. After a long, dreary winter, and a job that keeps us both inside all day, it was a great start to the day. Brian is a fabulous cook! We so enjoyed our breakfast and his smiley face signature! All of the common rooms were beautiful and so well appointed. There was tea and coffee and cookies always available and a little something stronger if you were so inclined. My favorite place was the front porch with the wicker seating...a great place to enjoy the sunshine and a good book. At Charlie and Brian's suggestion we had dinner at the Brewster Fish House the first night which was wonderful. I hope we are able to return to The Old Manse Inn soon. It was just the kind of pick me up we both needed. Although Brian and Charlie have only owned the Inn for 6 months, it felt like they have been innkeepers forever. They are exceptional people and I wish them the best in the years to come. The Old Manse Inn is certainly a gem. Thank you Brian and Charlie for a wonderful weekend.

Brian & Charlie and amazing! They welcomed our 24 of us to the Inn this past weekend, making each of us feel at home and at ease. They helped coordinate dinners with caterers and reservations at local restaurants. They are exceptional people and fantastic Inn Keepers. Thank you Brian and Charlie!!
