They sell a wide variety of muffins, pies, scones and pies. We had the blueberry and raspberry muffins, the cranberry and almond muffins and the British breakfast muffins. The first two are self explanatory while the third is like a large cinnamon doughnut cooked in a muffin pan. These are not the super over-sized mass produced muffins you might get at the supermarket; they are like the one you bake in your own home. The bakery is only open Thursday thru Sunday; 8 am till 4 pm. Sunday is a special day as they bake cinnamon rolls.

I have always wanted to try this bakery, but it's never been open when I've been here in years past. Well, finally, this was my lucky year! This is a small bakery with a cute gift shop attached to it. I had a hard time choosing from all the flavors of muffins and cookies offered. The peach muffin and the lemon crumb muffin were both good, but the cookies were on another level altogether! The peanut butter cookie had a crackly, sugary outside and a chewy, moist inside. The Hershey Kiss on top was still melty - you know what I mean if you've ever made peanut butter kiss cookies before! My husband was very lucky that I offered to share half of the cranberry lemon cookie with him. It was so good, that i did NOT offer to share the final cookie of the 3 I bought, the cranberry white chocolate oatmeal cookie. Why oh why did I not buy more cookies? Well it's too late now, as I'm back home in Virginia. Please be open when i return to the Cape next time!

This place is amazing! Fresh bakery muffins, scones and treats Thursday through Sunday in the summer. There is always a line that starts about 7:30 awaiting their 8am opening. But you can get there around 8:30/8:45 and the line has gone down and you can move along pretty quickly. You can smell the French breakfast pastries (other local bakeries call them dirt-bombs - cake muffins rolled in butter, cinnamon and sugar) that just came out of the over. The scones are the best I've ever had. They also have wonderful brownies and bars and cookies. Everything is wonderful. If you try it once, you'll be tempted to go each morning of your vacation. They also have a different signature item each day. One day it's cinnamon meltaways, another is pecan sticky buns, etc.

Not to mention cookies, pies and cakes. You've got to stop here for a cup of coffee and a treat.
