This was our second visit to this hotel on our way up to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. We wanted to avoid the Boston congestion and enjoyed being near historic Lexington and Concord and also a short distance from Cambridge and Harvard Square. The hotel was quiet, has landscaped grounds, a good outdoor (and smaller indoor) pools for family swims and offers a delicious buffet breakfast (included in our room package). Our room was clean and spacious. They have renovated since our last visit. It is convenient to Barnes and Noble, many mid priced and other restaurant chains, and is minutes from shopping at the nearby Burlington mall. Boston is about 9 miles south if you want to head downtown. It is nice to visit Boston and then "escape" to the burbs. We found the hotel relaxing. The only downside-my family hoped for a game room or ping pong table which they did not have. Would be great if they could add a tennis court. We would return for a weekend in the fall.

Room Tip: Take a room that is not facing the parking lot in front of the hotel.

We booked a one night stay because we had events in Boston area to attend on Sat and Sun. The location was 15 min or so out of Boston and was a better deal then staying in the city. The entrance was very nice, the help at the check in desk was fast and helpful. The room it self was standard hotel look, nothing too fancy. For the price I paid, it was worth it. I recommend not eating breakfast there. It is an extra 19.99 per person cost and from what I seen not worth it. We went to a local Dunkin Donuts that is just down the street instead. The room service menu was expensive and added an extra service fee also. The water bottles in the room was $3.50 cost if you drank it. At check out we only had a slight issue of being charged a bottle of water from the day before we checked in. (The customer before us also had things charged that she didn't get.) Make sure you check your statements. The clerk was happy to adjust it off our stay. It was a standard stay at a hotel, nothing fancy even though they are trying to be.

With a renovated lobby, new managing staff, the hotel CONTINUES TO BE A FAVORITE OF MINE.
With just a short drive into Boston, one can save several hundred a night (especially in the summer), and there is plenty of convenient free parking. The staff is outstanding, rooms clean and restaurant very nice. The shuttle is a nice touch is one wants to shop at the nearby mall.

Room Tip: Pool view is a little nicer

Booked this hotel for the price, inclusion of breakfast and Internet in the package and the good reviews. Stayed there with my family of 5 to spend a few days touring Boston. I was slightly worried that the hotel was sold out for the weekend and that the service would therefore be degraded as a result of operating at capacity. To our pleasant surprise, the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was amazing and something we looked forward to daily. Excellent wait staff and hosts that were positive and attentive despite the crowd. Front desk, pool and house maids were all so pleasant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Despite being outside of downtown, it's conveniently located off the highway and also close to a fancy Burlington Mall with great restaurants (I.e. Cheesecake Factory). Boston roads are hard to navigate. Recommend having a gps because we didn't have one and constantly got lost.

Hadn't been here in a few years and was nicely surprised at the lobby re-do. Gorgeous gas fire place and wall fountain- just beautiful! However , this is not a hotel for the open concept that marriott has employed at other locations. This is always a busy place and the restaurant is well above standard hotel fare. That being said opening up chops to the lobby makes it extremely noisy and kills the ambiance / relaxing atmosphere.

I arrived the morning of a town wide black out and the staff were very pleasant and helpful! Would also recommend the shuttle over to the burlington mall which has everything you could ever want in shopping and dining. If you didn't know it that's where "Mall Cop" was filmed.

Some rooms have been renovated and they are beautiful and spotless!

Recently stayed at this location this past weekend with my husband and my 5 yr old son. Walking in........ I was blown away how pretty it was inside. Love the fireplace/waterfall wall separating the lobby from the restaurant.
So we went to our room which was 447.......and WOW........it was practically a dorm room. Super tiny. I asked for a roll away bed for my son but we didn't even know where to even put it. I asked for a mini fridge which was delivered to our room after about a 45 minute wait.......and it was a fridge from the 80s but it did it's job.
We opted not to purchase the breakfast deal they had which was for $18.95 per person because there was no way we were going to make it for breakfast by 10am. My son and myself don't eat $19.00 worth of breakfast anyways.
We didn't do dinner I their restaurant either because it was just too over priced. There are a lot of nearby restaurants nearby which are good as well. We stocked up our teeny tiny fridge with stuff from the nearby supermarket.
Another thing that was pretty much my fault before I even booked the trip back in February was the Free Wifi..........yea there's NO FREE WiFi!!!!!!! Seriously guys, I did not pay 12.95 per day for their wifi. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!
The pool was nice. We didn't get to go outside because the weather wasn't that great but it looked really nice.
Other then the outrageous prices for their breakfast, restaurant and wifi......our stay was comfortable.
Will I be going here again........probably not. Do I recommend it, yes. If you're ok with all the extra expenses.
