Both wide and long, Craigville has the warm Nantucket Sound waters. The lifeguards should be honest about the presence of jellyfish and also have the vinegar at the ready.

We went to that particular beach and did not like it at all. The sand was grainy, full of shells. The beach and the water had lots of algae. And to add to our disappointment, a child found a jellyfish in the water. The kids still had fun playing in te sand, but we stayed close to shore. We found the parking, which was 20$ for the day, was expensive.

I guess I am not cut out for Cape Cod beaches. I can get past the rocks. Just don't like the lack of waves and the fact the beach is not very wide. You are surrounded by 2 private beaches that have signs up saying please respect our privacy.
Cannot really walk on the beach since this is on both sides.
Nice place to visit but if you like the beach not the greatest area to visit.

In the area I went to Sandy Neck, Kalmus, Veterans Beach, but Craigsville was my favorite. It was never really crowded when we went, there was always room for the 10 of us to set up camp. The bath house was a low point. Pretty messy and doors that do not lock. The water has a strip of rocks/shells you need to cross to get to soft sandbar. The water was calm on most days. The last day we had some nice waves due to a windy day. Water was very warm. We always found parking which was 15 weekday 20 weekend. But you can come and go and even go to several other beaches on same pass for the day. Beach sand is a mix of sand and shells but not a problem for walking.
