You can go for a long walk on this beach. The water was warm, and the sand is a bit coarse. The beach has facilities, and has lifeguards in summer.
This beach was nice to visit, there were a lot of people on the beach but it wasn't crazy crowded. Parking is $20 cash only and no street parking anywhere close. Not much to do around the area a couple little small restaurant shacks across the street but thats it. The sand is the reason I will not visit this beach again, tons of shells in the sand every time I stepped I felt like I cut my foot on broken shells. The water was warm and waves were good sized (not huge but not non existent).
Lovely beach..not too crowded during the week. Beautiful sunsets with just a few people on the beach in the evenings and great for late evening kite flying.
This was a beautiful beach! Lots of nice sand and warm water...and NOT rocky at all. It is $20 to park there unless you have a beach pass. There is also a nice bath house. We were at the beach on August 14 and never saw any jelly fish and we were in the water for two hours. This is a nice beach to take a long walk on. Highly recommend!!
The beach is very clean and has lifeguards. Great for small children as there are no waves. That being said, hopefully there aren't jelly fish that day. They do post at the gate when you pay $20. I was told it wasn't bad. My daughter was stung in 5 minutes of being there. Then one by one people were coming out saying they were stung. It really isn't that big of a deal. A little fresh water and a wipe and she was good in an hour. But there was no more swimming for any of us. We ended up going back the same night to have dinner. People were swimming with no problem of jelly fish. I think the month of August is the worst for it.
Beautiful beach with plenty of parking. Convenient restrooms, snack bar close by, warm water on the south side of Cape Cod
