We stayed two nights at the Long Dell Inn and enjoyed the hospitality of the new innkeepers, Marc and Donna. They're working hard to keep up the outstanding reputation of the former owner, and they're certainly succeeding. The breakfasts were truly delicious. It's a charming old place and well worth a visit. Bev, East Lansing, MI

Our stay was wonderful. The hosts welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately. Our room was also really cozy! But the best part was definitely our breakfast. The "french french toast" was absolutely delightful (the best one I've ever had). Overall, the Long Dell Inn was exactly what we were looking for, and we hope to come back soon. If you're considering making a trip to Cape Cod, you stay here. You won't regret it.

My husband and I stayed at the Long Dell Inn last summer. What a lovely long weekend! Kate is a wonderful host, and provides lots of local information. The wine and cheese in the late afternoon is a wonderful and generous addition. Our room was rather small, but clean and comfortable; the bathroom was spacious. The best part of the stay: the amazing breakfasts! I've never had such a wonderful feast in the morning. Truly unique and beyond expectations.

It's the innkeepers' attention to every possible detail that sets the Long Dell Inn apart. For example, they offer guests complimentary wine and cheese in the early evening, leave delicious cookies (along with chocolates) in the rooms for late night snack attacks, supply a list of all the local restaurants along with driving instructions on how to get to them, hand out recommended itineraries for day trips on Cape Cod, and stock the common area with books that you just have to pick up. They also cook the best breakfast, bar none, that I have ever experienced in a B&B. There are multiple courses, with choices for each, and hot food is cooked to order using imaginative recipes. We stayed in a smallish room, but it was very comfortably and thoughtfully furnished.

Admittedly, it's been 23 years since we visited "the Cape", but we found it to be better than ever...thanks to our 4-night stay at Long Dell Inn. We and another couple, dear friends, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Impeccably clean rooms, tasteful Bulgari amenities, and extended "happy hour" wine and cheese were just a few of the highlights that Kate and Dennis offer while making your stay with them totally memorable. Kate knows everything you want to know about Cape Cod, and Dennis cooks an incredibly delicious 4-course breakfast (varying daily!) that leaves you not only fully satisfied, but wondering why he hasn't opened a bistro in NY...over the top for a B&B. Check out Regatta, 5 Bays Bistro, Chatham Bars (clam bake), and Chillingsworth for fabulous dinners in surrounding towns. Provincetown was loads of fun, and the ferry/Nantucket was icing on our cake. But make Long Dell Inn in Centerville your must-stay B&B! M and D, New City NY 8/30/11

Room Tip: All rooms tasteful, rooms 3 and 4 tops.

Kate and Dennis are the perfect couple to run an inn and it shows in the service we received during our week long stay. Kate is a very gregarious and knowgleble host with a long list of options for day trips, restaurants, beaches and hiking paths. Dennis is a notable chef, cooking a four course breakfast that trumps any experience at the Ritz. They also serve complimentary appetizers and wine in the evenings. Honestly, I don't know how they make a profit with all the special details included with your stay for low price of the rooms? The rooms are very clean and comfortable and include flat screen TV's, designer soaps, homemade cookies, chocolates and two different types of water. If you are lucky enough to stay at the Long Dell Inn, you will have an amazing experience, but might feel a bit guilty about paying so little.

The Long Dell Inn receives our highest recommendation- Thank you Kate and Dennis!

There was absolutely nothing that we DISliked about this bed and breakfast and the food is OUTSTANDING! Breakfast is 3 courses and everyday something new. Dennis always had a "Special of the Day" to the "Frozen Grapes". It is well worth staying here. Kate had a wonderful way of presenting everything including the wine in the afternoon and everything was so clean. It was our favorite place in all New England. It is so close to the beach and about 10 minutes to the boat to Nantucket. There is also an outstanding restaurant about 40 minutes called the Impudent Oyster in Chatham suggested by the people in the Bed and Breakfast! It is well worth the 40 minute drive but be sure and make reservations. If we ever return to Cape Cod we would gladly return to Long Dell Inn!!! Antonio & Sharon Risoldi
