Beautiful location... Wonderful views of fall foliage during the day and amazing star gazing at night. A working farm where you really feel like you have gotten away from everything. A chance to feed/pet the animals or walk along clover pastures. Breakfast in the morning was whatever you could want, pancakes, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, eggs.

We have been waiting for years to "dine" at the warfield house and finally got tbe courage to go. The location is perfect...the scenery is perfect...that's it! The "chow hall" resembles just that... A mess hall at a military base. Pathetic service...pathetic food for pathetic prices! Servers can't get the drink orders straight and once they deliver the first round they don't return for 30 min! Window sills had dead flies and food from days past! NEVER will we or friends return!! Disgraceful !!! Never Again!!!

Really enjoyed our single night stay at The Warfield. Setting on the farm at the top of the hill was great. Both room and breakfast good. There are nearby motels that charge nearly as much and are certainly nowhere near as good. Recommended for families with open space and farm animals and also for couples looking for a getaway. Only downside was that creaking mattresses need replacing.

I loved our stay at Warfield House Inn. You truly are staying on a farm. Ashley, the innkeeper, was very sweet and welcoming. If they could fix one thing, it would be to replace the mattresses. Ours was very squeeky and not too comfortable. Aside from that, very pleased. We will be back!

This place was so much more than I had expected. Beautiful views, very clean and the people were amazing! We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and it was very comfortable and accomodating. We got to feed the sheep, llamas and horses. It was my first time around horses and the inn keeper Ashley was great! She took us on a horse back ride up to an open field and she had packed a lunch for us. I felt very comfortable and safe while riding with her. She also cooked breakfast both mornings that was unbelievably good. Also, the restaurant on sitehad some of the freshed food! The burgers and pizza were among my favorites. They also had a wide variety of drinks! The general manager jerry came over with a couple of shots for us and was very freindly. I would recomend this place to anyone looking for a fun relaxing getaway! There are also other octivites to do right down the street such as zip lining, white water rafting or rock climbing. We signed up for the zip lining through Zoar and it was fantastic! That was also my first time zip lining and it was a great experience. The guides were fun and friendly. I will definately go back to the Warfield Inn!

This inn was the perfect place to check into after a day of rafting with my friends. It was super low key and casual, but that's what we were looking for. When we walked into the house there was just a note on the dining table with a phone next to it to call the, not inn keeper, but the woman who got us settled in. She showed us our rooms, gave us a brief rundown of the inn and how breakfast worked (basically a free-for-all between 8am and 10am), answer any questions we had, and let us know that we were free to wander around, just hang out, or use the glasses, plates, and microwave in the kitchen. So that's just what we did! We sat at the table on the porch overlooking the valley and the mountains all afternoon and early evening drinking beers and chatting. It was perfect. The bar/restaurant on site was great too, although it does close early (we just snuck in at 9:30pm and the kitchen was about to close). Nothing fancy, but the wings and sweet potato fries were surprisingly tasty and hit the spot.
Pros: Home-y, relaxed environment, super friendly staff, restaurant/bar on premises, cute farm animals, nicely appointed rooms, gorgeous views
Cons: Breakfast was a little chaotic (we came down at our arranged time and there was no more food or space at the table inside, so we had to sit outside, which was fine, and wait while the woman whipped up the next batch, not a big deal but if you were in a rush, it could be a problem), room got a little hot in the middle of the night
