Our family had a wonderful stay at the Pleasant Bay Village. We booked a 2 bed apartment which was very spacious and nicely furnished. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our children loved the outside pool and spa! Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful Cape Cod.

The reviews pointed out that it was someowhat motel like, but surrounded by beautiful gardens. It was exactly that. One story, the place has no bar, a family pool area heavily trafficked with children, and you drive up to your doorway. The rooms were clean, although a bit musty, but that is not surprising for the Cape. We were in town for a wedding, so the 3 day minimum was more than needed, but that is standard in those parts of the Cape. Very short ride to downtown Chatham. All in all, although well short of luxurious, the place was fine.

Room Tip: If you upgrade, the room is closer to the pool and a little larger. The cheaper rooms are farther aw...

My husband and I recently returned from vacationing in this charming spot on Cape Cod. The landscaping has been done with great care, and the gardens are lovely. The staff is wonderful; they will go the extra mile to make sure your needs are met. We had a nice small deck with plantings that gave us plenty of privacy. Breakfast (try the blueberry pancakes, they're terrific) is served in a pleasant room off the pool, and lunch is served by the pool if you wish.

Chatham is a pretty town with good beaches and very nice shops. It is close to Orleans, another gem of Cape Cod, and not far other interesting towns like Wellfleet and Provincetown.

Room Tip: We are an older couple, so we wanted to be close to the pool, but not poolside (too much activity th...

We stayed there 2 nights with my wife and kids. Our room, that was very nice had tow bedrooms and a kitchen, a nice outside deck, a grill, a kitchen, and on the backyard there was a huge swing set, kids love it, also they have a fish pond, a heated pool, a jacuzzi. The breakfast was very good and the people that runs the kitchen/restaurant were very friendly. Jonny at the front desk was really good, and everyone is ready and willing to help you with other restaurants choices or tell you where the nice beaches are. Will definitely come back!

My wife and I made a last minute decision to go to Cape Cod. We were pleased to find the Pleasant Bay Village had availability. The property is beautiful with meticulously maintained gardens. Our room was spacious, well appointed and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was just 10 minutes away from downtown Chatham which is at the midpoint of the cape and minutes from Route 6. This enabled us to visit other towns along the Cape with great ease.

Room Tip: We upgraded to a room with a deck. The deck is private with great views of the gardens.
