Ok, the Stars restaurant has it all - a room so tastefully decorated that Martha Stewart would approve, a stellar view of the bay with sailboats gliding into the sunset, high quality food expertly prepared - but it wasn't the wonderful experience that it should have been. Maybe it's the patrician atmosphere of the inn or the pretentious attitude of the staff, but it just wasn't the relaxing, enjoyable experience that you'd expect from a top notch restaurant. Also, the food was good but there was nothing interesting or inventive to the dishes. I have been to many high end restaurants in my travels and while Stars was very good, it was still a bit of a disappointment. Sadly, these people are not nearly as special as they think they are.
