Hotel was very clean and bed was really comfortable. The entire staff was very helpful including breakfast kitchen staff and shuttle driver. We only stayed one night so didn't get to take advantage of the full refrigerator or kitchen in our room. However, if you were staying longer there are several restaurants in the area as well as a grocery store. The breakfast area was well stocked and clean. We took the free shuttle to/from Logan Airport, however, it also goes to the train station if you wanted to visit Boston proper.

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had an early flight when we were headed home and the shuttle driver was there early to ensure we were on time. The suite was beautiful and the little touches like microwave popcorn in the room show they are thinking about their guests. The complimentary breakfast was very good. They also had a complimentary dinner that was a nice surprise and delicious. If we felt more comfortable taking the train it appeared to be an easy ride into Boston. We walked around the neighborhood a little bit. There was a gas station and some neighborhood (non chain) restaurants nearby. We would stay here again and will look for other Residence Inn to stay at when we travel.

Stayed seven days during "graduation week" (May 2014) at Boston University and a number of other local colleges and universities. Needless to say, prices in and around BU and downtown Boston were astronomic. Found this property on the web and did they deliver! The price was right (booked early!); the free airport shuttle was great (rented a car for a day trip to Vermont, car delivered to hotel by local site of major car rental firm which saved "airport rental charges and fees"); hotel conveniently located a short walk to commuter rail stop for North Station subway terminal; "Studio Suite" was large with full refrigerator, microwave oven, dual electric stove top, comfortable bed, etc. Other amenities included a large flat screen TV, free wifi, daily newspapers, and a great full breakfast. Last, but most importantly, the staff was courteous, friendly and helpful.

We require a suite, so that when the snoring starts, we have a door to shut between us. We paid a total (all taxes etc included) of $401 per night for two nights. (I'm seeing single rooms at this hotel for $169 plus $20 tax.) The suite has a full kitchen and feels like an apartment; it's more than we need but this is, after all, a "residence inn." Wonderfully convenient for us without a car -- we walked to shopping and strolled around an interesting barrio. Highly recommend Market Basket food store -- get the budget pack of 12 glazed donuts for $2.99 (plus 4% off) -- they are as good as Krispy Kremes. We ate them for dessert -- breakfasts at this hotel are quite sufficient and tasty.

I have stayed in the hotel several times and find it clean and the staff friendly. Unfortunately, during my last stay I had arranged with front desk for a cab at 9:30AM the following morning. When I arrived in the lobby at 9:25AM I asked for the place the cab would likely pick me up only to find out that the cab had not been ordered. So a cab had to be called and it took another 25 minutes. As a consequence, I was 20 minutes late for the meeting I was attending. The front desk person was not too concerned about my situation. An apology could have eased the discomfort of knowing I was going to be late.

Nice hotel...newer, well kept, clean. Area leaves a bit to be desired, as well as some of the staff, especially one woman at the front desk. Nice location close to the airport. A bit noisy since it sits right next to the freeway. We had problems with our a/c unit - two of the three nights....made for a very restless night on our last night. Too bad that the maintenance tech did not check to make sure that it was working properly after our maintenance request on our second day. Stayed at the Marriott in Quincy over the weekend prior to moving to this hotel for work reasons. Would recommend the Quincy hotel over the Chelsea hotel - their team was amazing...friendly, willing to help, and overall an outstanding stay. Worth the drive to the downtown area eventhough a bit farther.

Room Tip: Stay at the Marriott in Quincy - Chelsea is not the nicest area outside of Boston - received lots of...

I sincerely apologize for the dissatisfying stay you had at our hotel; we are committed to providing an excellent experience for our guests and we take your feedback very seriously.
