“Great hotel”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

My husband and I stayed here last night for just one night...a little one night getaway for us! Check-in was easy and we were upgraded to a king suite! The front desk staff was courteous and pleasant. The room was clean and spacious with the usual amenities. It had a microwave and a refrigerator which I love. The bed was comfortable and had a lot of extra and comfortable pillows. There is a pool and I heard several young people saying it was nice but we didn't actually check it out. The hotel was quiet and we felt secure in our room. The breakfast which is included had a lot of choices, from fruit and several kinds of cold cereals and yogurts to bagels, muffins and donuts. The hot items consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage and make your own waffles. All in all very satisfying. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path...it is almost in the middle of a residential area but it is quite easy to locate and is very close to shopping, restaurants and the highway. We will definitely stay again!

I really like staying at this hotel...comfortable accommodations, good breakfast in the morning, pool for my grandson to get a little swim in before check out, and the staff is great. Everyone is courteous and pleasant. Stay there often. Although it is a little off the beaten path per say it is close to all venues including the highway but quiet so you get good sleep It fills up fast so make reservations.

Room Tip: Make reservations because this area hotels fill up quick and you want to stay in a pleasant place wh...

I highly recommend anyone stay here at this hotel. The rooms were so comfortable as were the beds. We felt at home here. I cannot say enough about the breakfast they served. It was an amazing assortment of items for a continental breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I spent the night here after a long, rainy day that featured a major disappointment (planned Salem Maritime NHS visit cancelled due to federal shutdown) and a long struggle with horrific traffic congestion (what else can you expect in the Boston area?). To make things worse, I had made a reservation at the Comfort Inn in Salem, NEW HAMPSHIRE by mistake, so we were darn lucky to get a room at all. The rate we paid was a bit higher than we’re used to for Comfort Inn stays, but it all added up to very good value.

Staying at this place had a calming effect. It’s one of the better Comfort Inns in the Choice Hotels group. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was comfortable too, and that’s something I never take for granted at a Comfort Inn. Experience has taught us that the mattresses in Comfort Inns tend to be very firm, leading to rather a lot of tossing and turning. Did I just imagine that this one was softer?

The front desk staff was very helpful with a printing problem I encountered while using the computer in the lobby. This was very much appreciated.

We had an early morning flight the next day, so we really appreciated how easy it was to drive to Logan Airport in about half an hour.

Very clean, comfortable----a nice room. Hotel was very convenient to Salem and other touristy things we wanted to see. Great Italian restaurant right across the street. We would definitely stay there again.
