We were there for a seminar. I had read the reviews but since we weren't being reimbursed for our trip from Rochester, NY thought we'd give it a try. Sure it wasn't like a Hilton/Marriott/Radisson but it was comfortable, clean & quiet, all we needed was a bed & bathroom!

Room Tip: If you need something special i.e hearing impaired or handicap accessible rooms were marked as such

We had to travel from SC to Massachusetts for a Death in the Family on short notice so flew. Since I have Choice Priority Loyalty program I went to their website. With things taking place on the North Shore of Greater Boston decided to stay close to everything.

Arrived late, hotel was great in guaranteeing everything, the website said it was a Roadway which is a moderate line, no problem we are staying 2 days, and want to be close to family.

Maps showed Hotel just North of Rte. #114 Exit on Rte. 1. Late at night drive by hotel on North bound side knowing it is Southbound. Finally find Hotel (Sign blew down) It was canvas. Check in go to room, and it started...First of all Hotel was another Brand not long ago, Choice took it over and named it Rodeway while a REMODEL was to start November 1, 2017. Not mentioned in Choice Website. Got to room NO COATHANGERS< NO NOTHING IN KITCHENETTE< NO ANYTHING. Call front desk hangars were ordered did not show up.....To make long story short, Employees were excellent, Bedding was new and Choice Hotels as far as sheets and quilt etc. I got what I wanted a CLEAN SLEEPING ROOM< but at more than 100.00 per night, and there was a Knights Inn directly across the Highway at 80.00.

Moral of the story is the WEBSITE BY CHOICE HOTELS could have been HONEST! could also have cut the price while in REMODEL, and unfortunately they have left a POOR TASTE in my mouth.... To Choice you have some good employees in Danvers try to help them!!!! Killer is that after REMODEL it will be a Comfort Suites!!!!

I cannot believe this hotel is allowed to have rooms that look/feel like this. There were stains all over the wall and ceiling, a red stain on the floor, the sink was broken, one of the beds were broken, and the hallways smelled like marijuana. I genuinely felt unsafe while in this room. Ridiculous. The hotel advertises free breakfast and only had coffee.

This place is horrible. Bad housekeeping, sticky carpets, smoked filled rooms, terrible maintenance. Unknowledgable and rude staff.

For a hotel that offers stove top and sink they have no dishware. There is mold and dust and no good ventilation. It would be cruel to house zoo animals in this place. If you have any health issues. This def isn't where you want to be.

I felt incredibly unsafe and the hotel itself is unfit for families or individuals traveling alone.

The hotel is filthy, the carpets are stained with years of neglect. Every surface in my room had a variety of unidentifiable stains and the floors are slick in the 'wooden' area with something to try to cover up the odd stains and peculiar large burn markings on the floors. The doors are covered in a thick grim, from old cigarette smoke, and looks as though someone has kicked the lock in a time or two.

I booked through Priceline needing a hotel for an early flight out of BOS. The hotel was marked as a 2.5-star hotel. This is anything but.

Room Tip: Unsafe and Unsanitary

I am sorry that your stay was not satisfactory. Cleanliness is very important to us, and we have strict procedures in place to ensure each room is thoroughly cleaned at each turnover, but we will be sure to review procedures with housekeeping to guard against situations like the those detailed in your review. We appreciate your comments.
