We have eaten many times at Legacy Place's Legal C bar. It simply offers the best, healthy food option in the complex. It can be crowded on Friday and Saturday so make a reservation. They change their menu so it is always interesting to go there. Staples such as lobster and sea weed salad are always there. Service is good with a cheery and knowledgeable wait staff. Bathrooms are interesting design and worth a visit. Big fan.

We have been to Legal C Bar several times. We have never had a bad meal there. We especially love their clam chowder. Having had our meals at a table and at the bar, we actually prefer to sit at the bar. The bartenders are always very attentive and friendly. Am looking forward to our next visit there!

Loved the atmosphere! We waited at the bar while waiting; the drinks came out really fast! We were taken to our table by a really nice waitress. I always love clam pasta. I was impressed by it! Perfect Al Dente, creamy sauce, yum!
If you are visiting Boston, it is a MUST visit place!

Fortunately the food was very good and the waitress was friendly. Unfortunately, the treatment by what seemed to be a manager was horrible. After a coworker and myself enjoyed the meal and were having some drinks, a gentleman holding a tablet (obviously a device to keep track of seating) wearing a bright yellow sweater, approached our table and explained that we were sitting in the favorite seat of a couple who were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary,. The seats were up on the mezzanine, off to one side. He said that he hoped we could move to another seat; I was polite and said that it wouldn't be a problem and the manager(?) offered a free dessert. Neither my coworker or myself were interested in a dessert, but the manager persisted and even indicated that he would make it to go so we could take it with us when we left. We indicated that it would be no problem and he said that he would let us know when the other table was clear so we could move. By this time, other patrons who were sitting around us were looking at us as if there was some sort of problem, which was a bit embarrassing. Instead of coming back with a dessert and leading us to another table, the waitress showed up and handed us the check...we hadn't been finished eating for more than 5 minutes and had two full drinks. So I took the clue, paid the $145 after tip bill and proceeded to leave. As we were leaving, the manager was leading a couple to our vacant seat; a couple clearly not married for 60 years. I wasn't even bothered that they asked us to move, although it was a bit awkward; what bothered me was the fact that he felt as though he needed to lie...Don't make up a story, and don't promise anything if you don't intend to follow through. It's a matter of respect for your customers, and this gentleman was clearly lacking in that department. What he failed to realize is, me and my coworker will be in the area for weeks setting up a new business location, and we won't enter Legal Seafood again...Also, the people we work with will hear the story of how we were treated, I don't think it'll be too flattering for this establishment. I've never felt the need to write anything about a restaurant online despite having experienced both bad and great dining; yet the behavior of this individual was enough to warrant this review. Good luck with your business if this is the standard by which you conduct yourselves.

We have eaten here perhaps 4 or 5 times. We almost always love to eat in any Legal Seafood restaurant, and the food here has been up to their standard each time. We are especially fond of their crab cakes. But this location is incredibly noisy, painfully so at leak dinner hours. So we try to eat outside in their small sidewalk seating area if the weather is nice and if there are seats. The view is of the other stores at Legacy Place, so not exciting in and of itself, but it beats the inside noise. The other place we have managed to sit once or twice is the small balcony area overlooking the bar. It has only a few 2-person tables and is a bit more private and somewhat quieter. Looking down on the bar is fun.
