We have been here many times over the past few years, for dinner with family.
-this is a very nice, friendly local bar and restaurant, nestled in a residential (non-commercial) section of Dennis - right off the bay side beaches..... However, WHY it is so popular is not clear. The food is very average - seafood like everywhere else, nothing special at all, and the prices are equal to most other Cape Cod places (too high for what you get), but OK
WHY it is so crowded, except for the location (nothing else around for miles) is unclear?
The bar / raw seafood area seems always packed with action, and perhaps this "scene" is popular.
BUT -the limited parking is a HUGE problem, since they ask you to "please circle the area"???? endlessly because they have no spots? Also, the dining area is small, so there's always a wait for a table.
They don't take reservations?, so there's always a long wait.....
SO, in summary, a very average place: POOR for the food and the lack of parking, and the crowds/wait for a table + GOOD for the location, and the bar scene, and .....??
