There was no delays in getting to our room. The room was very clean when we arrived. The whole place was quite clean and organized. Perfect location...beach and restaurants/bars within walking distance. I don't think I'll be staying anywhere else in this area.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my daughter for a mother/daughter getaway. I specifically picked this establishment bc it has both indoor/outdoor pool and is close to the beach. The owners were very friendly and helpful - offering local coupons, restaurant advice and directions. The motel is definitely older and can use some general upkeep but the rooms were quiet, clean, and perfect for our needs. If you are traveling with children, this place is a good choice- rooms have a small kitchenette, small bath, 2 beds and a sofa bed. My daughter loved the pools... Although I thought they were too cold. Maybe I'm just a chicken :)

There is a market across the street that bakes fresh muffins every morning, and the Dog House restaurant is right next door. Excellent value on their kids meals! The food is good and the kids seem to love it.

The downside is that the motel is a half mile walk to the beach... Not far unless you are lugging beach chairs, cooler, beach bag, etc. And parking costs $20-25 which is a bit pricey.

All in all, if you are looking for a quiet, mom and pop, cottage feel, this is a good choice. If you are looking for fancy/ high end establishment, you should keep looking. My daughter and I had a great time and would go back.

I have stayed at the Club two times and have been very happy with my experience. I have found the staff to be very friendly, helpful, outgoing. The rooms were clean and well kept. My wife and I have been abundantly satisfied. We will be back.

This is exactly the kind of place to stay on Cape Cod. Quiet, private rooms that are well kept and a great value. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. And we got wonderful tips on the best local places to eat. Communication during booking was great and my special requests were not a problem at all. I highly recommend The Club at Cape Cod and will definitely stay there again!

We chose this hotel based on the great reviews posted here. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations. We were really looking forward to spending time at the beach, swimming in the indoor pool, enjoying the hot tub, grilling outside, watching movies, and just generally relaxing.

Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the unit, while quite spacious, was not very clean. There is nothing like arriving at your vacation destination only to have to start cleaning. The kitchen counters were filthy, there were black “things” in the silverware drawer (which, thankfully, turned out to be burnt food remnants, and not rodent droppings as I initially feared!), hairs on the bathroom floor, and several months’ worth of dust on the ceiling fan and bathroom vent.

The layout was rather odd with two beds facing each other in one room with hardly any space in between, and the television on the wall in the other room with an uncomfortable couch. There was no TV in the bedroom, nor a DVD player in the unit at all. Also the transition from the floor in the kitchen area to the carpeted area was very hazardous – we tripped over it all week long.

When we went outside to the patio area, we discovered that while many units had grills on their patios, we did not, nor was there one placed in a common area. Since we didn’t think others would particularly like us grilling on their patios, we requested a grill to use (not knowing which room/patios were vacant). The owner kindly obliged and brought over a grill. That was filthy. And empty of anything that would sustain a fire. When this was mentioned to him, he offered to lend us a scraper and provide us with coals. We cleaned it, only to discover when we were ready to grill our dinner that the coals had apparently been exposed to wet and would not hold a flame. So much for our dinner plans.

After the weekend, we were the only guests there, and when we tried to enjoy the pool facilities, we were made to feel as though we were a bother and in the way. Most days we had to ask for the pool heater to be turned on – sometimes it was, sometimes it wasn’t. I understand that they were trying to reduce expenses and since they only had us they likely figured “why bother,” but considering the heated, indoor pool was one of the main reasons we chose to stay there, it was rather upsetting, and decidedly unwelcoming that we had to repeatedly beg for heat.

However, I think the worst was the day toward the end of our stay when, upon returning to our room, we found the back door open. Not just unlocked, but wide open. I assure you, we made sure that our doors are secured and locked every time we left. Anyone (or anything) could have wandered in. It was creepy, to say the least.

The location, a short walk to the beach, was great, the beds fairly comfortable, and the building itself has potential (with some minor improvements that would have significant impact.) Unfortunately the lack of care for cleanliness, being made to feel like a nuisance for requesting that the pool be heated, as advertised, and the lack of security added unnecessary stress into what was intended to be a vacation all about rest and relaxation.

This was so cute this little beach like cottage motel. Close enough to beach. Cute room nice and spacious and a patio with picnic table and grill. Affordable rates for off season. Indoor pool a little chilly, and hot tub not that hot, although overall a nice secluded quiet place to stay anytime especially summer time! We will be back

Enjoyed two separate stays at the Club during late summer 2013 (September & October) with family. Indoor pool is immaculate and warm. Beds are comfy. Kitchenette is a real bonus, especially with a little one. Steven is so helpful with everything. You feel more like a friend than a guest at the hotel. Centrally located, short drive to many great restaurants & attractions. Walking distance to the store, hot dog stand and local bar if you don't feel like driving. I can't wait for 2014 to visit again!!
