Three Seasons Motor Lodge

We spent two nights at the Three Seasons in July. The place was great, but there are a couple things requesting if you have kids.
1. Get a ground level room. If you are on the bottom floor the kids can just run out the door and play on the grass field.
2. Have some kid food on hand at night. The outside lounge does not have a kids menu at night. It is great for breakfast and lunch.

Here are a couple of other things that were great about this place. They have live music on the lawn every night. The sushi bar is great!

Room Tip: get a bottom floor room if you have kids.

We have been going there for about 20 years but last year was our last time. The "ocean view"
rooms not longer have a view of the ocean but of a bar. At night it is very busy and at lunchtime. If you want to take the kids down to the beach with your blanket, umbrella, chair, cooler you have to wend your way through the diners !! Those patrons also go through hotel grounds to go the the bathroom down by the office. They take our chairs from our patios and leave empty cups and lemon wedges in the grass ! The bar is nice if you don't want privacy at your hotel. They put up the bar on what used to be a sundeck for those they didn't want to go down to the beach; and there was a picnic table to enjoy your morning coffee and the ocean. It is no longer a "family" place to stay and there is no view of the ocean except for the "ocean front" rooms. We are going to a different resort this year with more privacy.....very Disappointing because we took our kids when they were young and now they are taking their kids, but not to the Three Seasons any more.

I can't say enough about the lovely beach at the Three Seasons. So relaxing and so close to the hotel itself. The hotel is fine - nothing fancy but clean and safe. The owners are very kind, it's got free wireless, and a relaxing atmosphere where families can spend time outside on a nice grassy field. There is a little bar that has live music in the evenings, but the noise wasn't a problem for us. Overall, a nice little spot to spend a few days at the beach.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the grassy field are great for families - you can let the kids run around a bit and...

Went down for the first time this year with a bunch of friends who had gone for many years. And we have already booked our weekend to go back. The weather went bad but we still had a wonderful time. Its great for younger kids, we sat, relaxed and talked, while the kids ran around playing games and making friends with other kids. So it is alittle bizarre to have these two worlds colliding - The Motel people and then all the dressed up guests waiting to get into the restaurant or hanging at the Tiki bar. But we enjoyed the music from the Tiki bar, and enjoyed my own drinks from my cooler that didn't cost 10 each.

Pool is small but heated - which is fantastic when it gets chilly. We never even went in the ocean when we were there due to the weather. They have 2 chairs per unit for outside - we brought our own too. Small fridge in our unit. Very nice and helpful people, simple and fun time away.

Room Tip: Corner suites book up WAY ahead of time, if you want more privacy, go for a second floor unit.

Room was dated and sorely in need of a renovation. No electrical outlets anywhere near a mirror and a bit of an odd smell. The lovely view almost makes up for all the hotel's shortcomings. Almost.
Will return to the Cape but will not stay here. Stayed during the off season with a wedding block rate and wouldn't pay a penny more for this hotel.

I would never recommend this dump.

Yes, it's on a decent beach (if you've ever been to Destin, FL or the outer banks in NC or other great beaches, you'll understand how mediocre this beach is), but the hotel is straight out of the 50's. Our room was so old - old, thick TV with a remote that barely worked...if you were lucky - creaky, center-dipping beds that haven't been updated since the 60's - 1950ish bathroom tile and facilities that remind me of my dear departed Mom's house - rusted beach chairs bought at the discount store - people at the front desk with "take it or leave it" mentality. Don't stay here, especially for the cost. Find something nicer.

Room Tip: Just don't do it. There are better places in Dennisport.

The Three Seasons has a nice location on a small private beach. The staff is very friendly and the outside of the hotel is well kept, but the rooms are in desperate need of an update.
There was a wedding at the hotel the weekend we stayed. Beach access was not restricted by the hotel but it did feel a bit awkward to walk past all the wedding guests.
Internet access is free with a password, ask at the front desk. We were given $5 breakfast vouchers that covered coffee and a bagel in Beaches cafe. There are several nice restaurants and the usual hot dog stands within a short walk or drive.
