"Sweet Dreams" is exactly as it appears in the photos. It was neat and clean, as well as spacious enough for a family of four. The cottage has no air conditioning, but since it is so close to the sound, there was always a breeze.
The tv is in the living room, not in the bedroom. There is a radio as well. The kitchen was fully equipped with glasses and dishes.
The screened in porch was pleasant enough to sit and relax. Curtains or blinds would have been nice to have especially during the evening for privacy. Be advised that this home sits on the corner of Inman and Lower County road. Although there wasn't much traffic, lots of folks pass by on foot.
The backyard is a shared piece of property with a multi-family building. The kids enjoyed playing on the front lawn, which is a more private than the back.
There was a clothes line which is great for dying off the swimsuits and towels. The washer and dryer in the basement were a nice bonus. This home is a short walk to the beach.
Having a Dennis beach pass allowed us to try the beach on the bay side, which is larger and offers a bathrooms and food. When the weather cooperates, there are restaurants along the shore road that are within walking distance.
The only negative to this cottage was the over use of plug ins, and free standing air fresheners. The smell of apple was so overwhelming, that we had to unplug and close up the fresheners that we could find.
The owners arrived the night before we left, and gave us the tour of their livable schoolhouse on the property. They are a lovely couple, and wanted to share their knowledge of the area with us.
So, bring your own sheets, towels, and food for a great vacation!
