We stayed 3 nights in early June and chose this B & B particulary because it looked like such a warm and inviting place to stay at. The living room, family room and breakfast room were open at all times to the guests. There was a laptop available for all guests to use in the family room. The owners Anita & Joe were very warm and friendly. We stayed in room 202 which had a deck from which you could sit and see the ocean. The rooms were decorated with quaint furnishings. The rooms were a little bit smaller than we had expected.

The breakfast room was very delightful, airy and inviting. We so enjoyed breakfasts in this room where the owners cooked a different hot meal each morning. They even made my husband an omelet with egg beaters. He thought it was delicious.

The weather was not the best but we could find a lot of activities near the Dennisport area to see and do. We did see the JFK Museum in Hyannis, drove by the Kennedy Compound, took a ride on the Cape Cod Railroad, walked along the National Seashore in Eastham and saw an historic whaler's home. We also found a number of good restaurants in the area but particulary enjoyed Clancy's on Upper County road, and ice cream treats at The Sundae School on Lower County road.

When the weather allowed we enjoyed hiking around the area. We did get to sit out on our deck one afternoon when we weren't busy touring. The cool air plus the sun was refreshing.

We just returned from An English Garden B & B and are still telling our friends and family about the magic of this experience. It starts when you walk in the door to this charming, beautifully appointed home where one can immediately imagine settling in with a good book, a cup of tea in a quiet spot or lively conversation with new friends. We opted for the latter and found wonderful company throughout our 3 day stay. The highlight for us was the warmth and hospitality of the B&B's owners Anita and Joe. They create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere from their first hello through the amazing breakfasts in the sunny window lined room that overlooks a lovely garden visited by birds and beyond that, a view to the ocean. Pure magic! Our room was perfect with a private deck where we could read and relax and simply enjoy the setting. We will return often. This was indeed a very special place.

I recently booked guests/friends at this charming B and B. The lovely owners Anita and Joe welcomed me for breakfast. I had a little tour of this special hideaway. The property is minutes from the beaches and my fav oceanfront dining spot, Ocean House. Anita and Joe have paid attention to every detail. The setting is magical and whimsical. The furnishings reminiscent of an English manor home. Breakfast is full on with Irish Oatmeal, fresh fruit, steaming hot coffees or teas, lovely hot items and many choices including granola, cereals, sweet breads, yogurts and more, all with scenic views of Nantucket Sound. The rooms are restful and comfortable. I cannot imagine a better place to rest your weary heads...enjoy the tv room with dvd's, cds, books and more.

This B&B is very well run by Joe and Anita. They are a delightful couple and want to make sure that their guests have everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast is incredible! Joe is a great cook! Dennisport is located on the lower middle part of the Cape on the Nantucket Sound. The B&B is just a short walk to the ocean. Our room was a little small, but nice, and had a door size view of the ocean with a stand-up only balcony. Most of the other rooms are a little larger and a couple of them have true decks. Nicely decorated. Very clean, except hallway carpet. Nice space for evening reading, tv, or computer access. Many restaurants and businesses close during this time of October until April so dinner arrangements should be well planned. If in the area, we would probably stay again.

Our family stayed for five nights. The grounds were lovely, the owners couldn't do enough for their guests, and the location is right near the beach. A nice breakfast was included every morning and they were happy to modify any dish to please. We had a suite with two bedrooms, which was a big help with our two kids. Lots of upside. A few things could have been better. I'm six feet tall, which was somewhat of a problem with the low ceilings in the basement suite. The bathroom, sink and shower needed updating. The one window air conditioner did not cool the large room adequately (luckily it wasn't that hot). There were complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, but the umbrellas were broken. Plenty of towels were available. The hot tub was very nice. They also leave a laptop for guests to go online, which was how we booked our boat rides. Anita and Joe were very interested in doing whatever they could to make things comfortable, which we really appreciated. This B&B is reasonably priced and a good choice for a vacation in Cape Cod.
