“Good Food, Good Drinks”

Simple menu with good food - Great happy hour with a 99 cent raw bar. Good drinks and live music! Not a good place for kids since the bar isn't really separated from the dining area.

“Great bar scene”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2013

We went there last Saturday night, they had a 3 man band that played great music. The drinks were reasonable, they had buckets of beer. It was more of a younger crowd.

“Great casual atmosphere. Kids loved the kids karoke night!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2013

We came to the Sand Dollar Bar and Grill for the Kids Karoke night and had a wonderful time. The drinks were inexpensive and the food was very reasonable as well. The wing dings were excellent. Most of the other food we got was not high quality by any means but it was so reasonably priced that it was decent for the money we spent. I would recommend the Sand Dollar if you're looking for a reasonable alternative to an expensive night out.

“Reasonably pricing and very good bar food in a fun atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 July 2013

My wife and and I stopped by on a recent visit to the Cape to enjoy a cold beer and some great entertainment by Greg Buckley. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they had a full working kitchen and were serving pub-fare and seafood. The food was very reasonable and extremely tasty. We enjoyed great burgers, some oysters on the half shell and some of the tastiest Buffalo Wings we have had anywhere. The next time we are looking for a cold beer and dinner in a lively atmosphere - we are heading to The Sand Dollar!

“Fun sports bar night out!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2013

What do you do when it's been raining on Cape Cod, and you're getting a case of cabin fever?
Dennis Port on the Mid-Cape has a surprising range of offerings, from the Harwich Junior Theatre (summer stock) to an organic food store at the intersection of Rte 28, to eateries and bars, of course.
We needed some high-octane fun on a night with pouring rain and flooding roads. A local musician, Rob Warren, told us he had a gig there that night, and we were desperate for some live music fun. Calling ahead to the Sand Dollar Bar & Grill, the manager told us, truthfully, that the music would only be going when the game wasn't going on, and I appreciated his hones heads-up. I didn't know the Bruins were a hockey team (winning that night, hey, and getting closer to the Stanley Cup). The whole place rocked out during the game (spotty tv reception due to the storm didn't seem to matter), made this a fun night. Girls in Bruins shirts and mascot hats, dancing to the one-man band, guys hollering requests. All very friendly.

Beer served in ice buckets for the table, or on tap. Raw oysters on the menu, lobster roll.
Simple, straightforward menu.
We were too busy drinking beer, so I can't speak for the food or service, but it looked inviting enough to come back and try. The atmosphere was just what we needed, and that's what made the night fun for us.
