I ate here with several members of my extended family - all ages. There were plenty of choices on the menu so everyone was satisfied. The food was good and service was fine. We would eat here again.

good prices, great service, varied menu, good food all around. very relaxed; took my son for Easter dinner as he could not make it home from school, waitress told us to take our time after finishing dinner, no push out the door. casual family atmosphere, definitely not yuppie or over the top.

I went here several years ago with my family and one of my dad's friends from his days in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. The steak was incredibly delicious, nice and juicy, and the fries were golden and crispy. I will definitely dine here again.

We were visiting New England from Florida and this place was suggested by relatives as a nice relaxed place, close to where we were staying. Our food was actually quite good (we were there for lunch on a Sunday) and our server was fine. Value was average. Our only comment was they the place could use a thorough spring cleaning.
The wooden blinds were down because of the sun and they were covered in dust. Looking up we saw that the over table lamp was also in need of dusting. So, I would not say to avoid this place as it WAS good food and service with a decidedly hometown flair, but just a word of advice to the management to take a day and do some sprucing up so that future visitors are not turned off.

Our family has eaten here on a couple of occasions. The food is usually pretty good, the service subpar, and the environment clean but crowded and dark.

In our most recent visit to this restaurant we were greeted and seated promptly as usual. Our server although pleasant was business-like. We ordered a couple of baby-back ribs, a couple of Prime ribs, and a fisherman's platter. We were served our salads and soups a later our server returned to inform us there were no baby-back ribs with an apology. We needed to re-order, delaying all our food orders. We ordered another prime rib and a clam chowder bowl. When we received our primb-ribs (all ordered as medium) they were cooked a rare, medium, and medium well, although all the meet was tender and grade-a. The fisherman's platter is tasty, although the batter on the onion-rings is meager, but still tasty.

The seating for the restaurant has a crowded feel to it as it is mostly walled in, the wall-coloring dark, and the light dim.
