This was our third visit to the Nauset House Inn over the past 10 years and it's a place we would definitely recommend to friends. The innkeepers, John and Cindy, are warm and gracious hosts who make you feel at home immediately. We have stayed in the carriage house each time -- twice in the Beachplum room and this time in the Iris room. Both are spacious and comfortable. It's a toss-up as to our favorite. Several options are listed on a chalk board each morning for a delicious full breakfast. Cindy's freshly baked goodies are a special treat. The inn is located minutes from the center of Orleans and a stone's throw from one of the great ocean beaches in America.

Extremely lovely B & B out towards the farther side of Cape Cod. Stayed for one night while visiting the beach, during the quiet part of the season (mid-spring). Very friendly owners, who are great cooks and know the area very well. Hospitality is their basic default disposition; not a tactic or an effort. Room rates were cheaper than nearby motels, and our fellow guests were returning for the 14th or 15th year in a row. Obviously, a real find.

This is a beautiful antique inn that's within walking distrance of a huge ocean beach :-)John and Cindy were super nice, and Cindy gives you a choice of breakfast entrees that she makes fresh for you, and accompanies it with homebaked muffins...delicious! The rooms were spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated too. I definitely recommend it!

I've been coming to the Nauset House Inn with friends and family for over 20 years. It is a special place. It's a family run inn that is cozy, friendly, and full of lovingly created details such as the stenciling in the halls and guest rooms. It's close to the beach and many wonderful walks and other activities. Cindy, John and Diane create a home away from home without any of the worries of home.

Once again we stayed a the Nauset House in. As many times as we have stayed there we continue to love it. Good times and good people with the Inn Keepers and guests everytime. We are not sure how they do it but we always feel welcome and refreshed the moment we walk in the door. The rooms are very comfy and clean evern the shared bath ones. With a quick walk to the beach and great food, no need to drive all the time. The owners told us about a great seal watching trip and even made us reservations. We can't wait until the next time we can get away and get back to the place we call heaven!

My husband and I "found" Nauset House Inn about 15 years ago on our way to hike on Nauset Beach. Since that first visit, we have gone once or twice every year. Each and every time, without fail, our stay has been relaxing, comfortable, and profoundly satisfying. For me, this is due to the people who run the inn, Diane and John and Cindy---their genuine warmth (which never intrudes), their attention to detail (from the flowers in your room to the breakfasts which are a feast for the eye as well as the palate), and the artistic sensibility evident everywhere one looks. At Nauset House Inn, one can find solitude and quiet or join other guests in the lovely shared areas, over coffee and newspapers in the morning before breakfast, any time during the day, or for wine in the evening, perhaps before a crackling fire in the great fireplace, discussing possible dining options and the day's experiences. Wonderful people, lovely gardens and grounds, a view of the ocean in the distance: what could be more refreshing and relaxing?!
