Beautiful rooms, Spacious grounds and outdoor seating. Breakfast is awesome! The beach is a short walk, and even a shorter drive, away. I plan to stay here again. The shade, sun, and proximity to Nauset Beach make this Inn a great find.

Room Tip: Rooms with shared bath are small, but entirely sufficient.

Fifth year in a row for us! What keeps us coming back?

Maybe its the familiar greeting you get every time you walk in the door, maybe its the perfect breakfast every day, maybe its the 5 minute walk to one of the nicest beaches on the Cape, maybe its the location on the Cape that lets you go in any direction to see and experience the best sites!

Maybe its because we just really like the place!

This has been the third time staying here, this time it was with our two Daughters. We loved the homey feel and the personal attention we have received, The breakfasts are outstanding, home made and many choices of omletes and fresh baked muffins. The girls loved it. The rooms are comfortable, clean and made up every morning while you are having breakfast. The period decorating and choice of many rooms make this a experiance that is not ordinary. Staying here at the Inn gives you a chance to talk with other guests during breakfast. The surrounding area of the town and beaches gives you many choices, bike riding kayaking, and whale watching . The beaches are some of the finest on the East coast and in Massachusettes. John and Cindy are genuine and always give you a warm friendly welcome. I will try to come back every year.

Thank you John Cindy and Diane

This is our first review of anything on Tripadvisor but we go to it "all the time" when making restaurant and lodging decisions. I felt it was time to contribute.

My wife and I have been visiting Nauset House for MANY years, we live in a suburb of Boston and really look forward to our annual visit to one of our favorite places in the world. We live in a big contemporary townhouse and a visit to Nauset House brings us back to a simpler, traditional environment that affords the "change" we look for on vacation.

I will add that we always take the Scenic Route to (and from) East Orleans (Route 6A). Slow traffic, lots of scenery through quaint towns get us in the mood for our arrival at the Inn.

If you are looking for a big, glitzy resort with big screen TV, windows that don't open, loads of recliners around a crowded pool go somewhere else... But if you want a true antique Cape Cod Inn near fabulous Nauset Beach go to Nauset House!

By-the-way, Breakfast is great! In addition to the great food, guests use the time to make new friends and share very important information... Restaurants, Shows, Lobster Rolls, Onion Rings, Fried Clams. Bike Paths, Nature Walks, Kayak Rentals, Art Galleries, Ice Cream, etc, etc, in other words, first hand sharing of all the good things that the Cape has to offer.

Yes, the rooms are CLEAN!

Bottom Line... We love it and feel you will too.

Room Tip: Every Room is different, every room is quaint, they are shown on their website, pick the one that wi...

I have never been to a B & B before..........and what a lovely, homey experience this was! The owners, John & Cindy, are very hands on and make every guest feel like Family. The walk to the beach was short and scenic. Nauset House was a quaint, homey, quiet and friendly experience with an amazing breakfast. Also, it is so clean!!!! I can't wait to go back to the Cape and will definitely stay there!!!!!!!!! Thank you for all you both do. Debbie R

After looking at several things on line we decided to rent a room at the Nauset House Inn for a couples weekend. We were absolutely blown away by how perfect this place is for a weekend on the beach. We were welcomed with a glass of wine and taken to our room very soon. We had a shared bathroom but that was not a problem the entire weekend. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding! It is home cooked delicious food! Every evening we would have a glass of wine and John and Cindy would help us decide where to eat for the evening. If you want a break from a typical hotel experience this is truly a awesome place to stay and only a little walk from the beach which we did at least twice a day.
