One of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed. And, on a wonderful part of the "Upper Cape" (which is the part of Cape Cod closest to the mainland). This is a real farm, with a historic main house and a few guest cottages that offer self-catering. The co-owner is the chef and her cooking is spectacular. She offers a 4 course breakfast which includes dessert (yep, pie or cake for breakfast ... does it get any better?). Eggs are fresh ... many just laid that morning. Food is served family style and you eat at the same table as your fellow guests -- and make many interesting friends that way.
The farm itself is a labor of love ... and has a number of unique animals that are really just for watching. There are even a few rescues there (a very rare Jacob's goat, for example). They have pot bellied pigs, goats, sheep, cows, guinea fowl, chickens, etc. etc. They are pet friendly (we have 3 dogs and there was no issue having all 3 with us). They do have a stress free policy -- NO TV and NO PHONES. (you can, of course, use your cell phone in private). It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive from town so the location is good.
We have stayed there several times ... and those have been some of the most relaxed vacations we've ever had. We hope to go back many, many times in the future.
