Not well organized and the stories well not well delivered.

Groups are composed of 50/50 kids and adults. Time needs to be given to develop well practiced stories and "urban legends" that can appeal to both.
Even the most famous "daggett house child in fireplace " ghost story was not told properly (at least the way we were told by the daggett inn many years ago).

I want to be supportive of this great idea, and hope they will succeed with some more practice and better stories.

My family has been making annual fall trips to MV for the past decade when last year one of my aunt's found out about the evening walk. There are generally 20-25 of us ranging in age from 2-70 years old on the trip and we love to find something for all of us to do together. This walk was super and everyone loved it! The guide was just so much fun and was a wealth of information. Having spent the upwards of a week on the island in the past years each time, we thought we had really started to know some of the best stories about the ghosts and gossip surrounding this magnificant place -- that was until we met her and took the walk. It was just right in regards to length, and level of spookiness. The young ones loved her stories and we older ones loved looking at all the wonderful architecture along the way and finding out more about MV's sailing history.
I don't remember the exact cost but I don't recall thinking it was too much for such a great time. Dress warm as the evening quickly got cool, not to mention the occasional shiver you might get from a story! We are heading back up to MV in just a few days and many of us are planning on doing the walk once again just for the fun of it!
