Jevon Malcolm is the owner and master chef of this restaurant, that has been in business for 65 years. It is a Fairhaven institution with Mac in the kitchen and his wife and kids in the dining room as servers. The breakfast menu is 6 pages in length so there is something for everyone. The omelets are creatively cooked and very tasty as are the egg benedict dishes. Pancakes come in a variety of interesting flavors. The prices will surprise you -- they are incredibly low -- with the portions incredibly large. Only 12 tables in this small place so there is an intimacy about your breakfast experience -- like having it with your family. If lunches and dinners are this good, it would be hard not to make Mac's a regular stop throughout the week. Only a mile from the Interstate so take time to enjoy a special treat.
