Delightful short walk with a great view at the end. A little bit of woods and then a lot of ocean. Great spot to take photos as well.

"The Knob" is an iconic place on Cape Cod. It is a like a scale model of a peninsula gone somewhat awry. Imagine a baby volcano (inactive, thank God) built out of a Cape Cod stone jetty. You take a short walk out to it on a fairly narrow path, water on both sides, and when you reach the top there's a neat little bench to sit down. Other than the pathway, you are surrounded by water and Buzzard's Bay sprawls out in front of you, looking south and west. There are few places better to watch the sunset. You get to it by finding Quisset Harbor in West Falmouth. The one big negative about it and the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the parking is very limited when you get down to the harbor. Worth a second attempt if you can't park the first time.

Information contained in other reviews was accurate. Beautiful scenery, we especially liked the stairs that went down to the bay!

We heard about this from another couple that was visiting. It was a nice hike, a nice beach is nearby, and the view at the end was really pretty. Lots of mosquitoes though and poison ivy. So bring the bug spray and stay on the path.
