I booked two nights because they had what we needed (fridge and microwave), it was in a good location for hitting the MV ferry in the morning, and it was affordable. The person at the desk gave a lot of info on the area, and directed us to places to eat. We stayed there before things got busy, so we apparently got a room upgrade to a waterfront room. This means that your door faces the parking spot, but there is a back door to a balcony where the water view is. Since I don't have kids, this wouldn't be a place I'd personally stay during the busy season - the water view means also a view of the two pools and I imagine it would get a little noisy.

AC worked well. Beds weren't too bad. Fridge, micro and coffee maker a big plus. The front door to the room was odd....louvered glass panes and a screen. It's just a personal thing but when I stay at a hotel, I'm not there to interact with all the other guests so I didn't see the appeal to shared balconies with no privacy. I didn't use the balcony because of that, but might have otherwise. Again because this was not busy season, the pools were open but filthy. I wouldn't have used them.

This is more of an "old school" motel, and not going to be satisfactory for those used to big chain hotels. But for the price, it was very decent. My mother liked it more than I did.

My family and I were spending the night in Falmouth before taking the ferry over to MV the next morning. We had made reservations at a different pet-friendly hotel and could not stay there because it was so filthy. We drove around town and went to 3 other pet hotels that were equally dirty and stinky. By a phone referral we tried the Green Harbor. When we pulled in the driveway I had a great feeling that this was going to be the place. The grounds were manicured, the rooms were quaint and cozy but most importantly they were very clean for our 2 children and our black lab. The owners, Milton and Paula were so accommodating and friendly. It was off season ( end of April) and very quiet so we will have to visit another time when things are busier. It was such a relief to find such a comfortable, clean accommodations. We also had adjoining rooms with the children which was a big piece of mind.

Room Tip: Ground level was very convenient to take our dog out in the middle of the night and early morning.

Our two night stay here was quite satisfactory. The owners were most helpful with check-in, directions for the area (including info for Martha's Vineyard) and dining recommendations. Even though it is an older lodge, it was tidy and clean. We had a mini-fridge and microwave but we didn't need to use it. The location was in a quiet neighborhood off the main highway. Recommended for sure!

We have stayed here with our dog several times over the last five years. The rooms are clean and some have kitchenettes and balconies overlooking the harbor, the grounds are well kept and include a pool and beach--perfect for launching kayaks from, and the owners are always very kind and helpful. Yes, the dog aspect can get a little crazy at times but, honestly, the only time we ever lost sleep here was because of the humans in the room next to us. Oh yeah, it's very affordable and well-situated for exploring Falmouth!

We have been coming to the u.s.a every year since 1989,and came across Green Harbour and now do not wish to go anywhere else. The day we arrived from the U.k 7 years ago I can remember as yesterday the genuine warmth shown by Milton & Paula has just made us feel like returning, nothing is too much trouble for them nothing. The accommodation is very well equipped and the standards of housekeeping goes beyond the standards of a 5star hotel, everywhere is spotless and very much loved and cared for .We are again counting the weeks off and very much wish we lived nearer as we would visit more often.

We originally booked two nights at Green Harbor, but as soon as we got there, booked another night. Firstly, owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, so close to Falmouth and Woods Hole (if you are planning to go to Martha's Vineyard). Situated on the edge of an inlet, away from traffic and other noise, this motel is a very relaxing place to stay and I can see it being very popular for families and couples alike. We had a room with a kitchen which was well equipped. The room as also very clean with good facilities. There's a laundry on site which, after 3 weeks of travelling, was most welcome. Highly recommend this accommodation.
