“I didn't want to leave!”
Reviewed 13 July 2010

We stayed t Green Haror at the end of a month long US trip, beginning in May and ending in June. Cape Cod was our last destination. I had chosen three resorts from various sources, Green Harbor was the first we visited and I am so glad we did. We were warmly greeted on a Sunday evening by Milton, his wife showed us the accommodation available. We chose a room with a view over the pool, towards the river. It was beautiful. The scenary is lovely and there is always something to see from the balcony, look out for the Kite, magnificent!

The room we chose had a small kitchen, two queen beds and a bathroom with shower over the bath, plenty of towels and bits and bobs in the kitchen. The wireless internet is a real bonus too. The room was spotlessly clean and well kept. I always check beneath the sheets, just in case! No need for alarm here, everything was perfectly clean. The resort as a whole is very well kept, the gardens, decks and pool area, a credit to Milton and his staff.

Falmouth town is a short drive away, here you will find plenty of restaurants and quiet bars. We ate at the Boat House on two occassions, really good food and good value for money. There are lovely beaches on this coast, the only regret I have, is that we only had five days to spend here, if ever we find ourselves back in these parts again, Milton can look forward to visit from us.

After making spur of the moment plans to visit the Cape, we picked this family owned hotel and were not disappointed. Our group consisted of four adults and two children. Two of the adults and children stayed in accomodations poolside and the other two adults in separate accomodations down by the water. It turned out to be a good choice, because the kids enjoyed being right by the pool, and the two adults enjoyed the tranquil location harborside. We were impressed by the cleaniness of the room, airconditioned, very comfortable and equipped with refrigerator and microwave. The Lodging itself overlooks a quiet and scenic harbor and is within decent driving distance of beaches and shopping. Staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Falmouth so much we extended our trip by another day.

This is our 3rd year back to Green Harbor. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the resort has all the amenities needed for a great vacation including a boat ramp and dock. We will continue to come back every year . . . we love it!!

We had a short, five day/four night stay at Green Harbour...but it was very relaxing!! The pool is clean and heated, the location is close to the beaches, the ferry for Martha's Vineyard, and Woods Whole (awesome little village)...Milton was SOOOOO helpful in finding things to do with for our family (with a 6.5 month old son). This was the perfect getaway with a little baby. Though the standard rooms are small (I would have gotten a studio style beachfront with a kitchen if I had it to do to over) they are VERY clean, and conveinient (Parking is right outside the door)...I cannot say enough about what a great time we had and how wonderful this place was...totally reasonable when you compare to other area lodgings. NOTE...there is no on site restaurant but TONS of little diners or eateries in the area for a great, afordable breakfast (my fave was Pie in the sky in Woods Whole)...just a great vacay spot...enjoy!

Traveled with 3 young kids and the hotel was great and not too big., The pool was right outside our door and we had a grill with patio furniture, so it was easy to watch the kids. We had an adjoining room with family and our room had the kitchenette, which was perfect, equipped with plates, utensils,e tc. The rooms were a good size and clean. The pillows were a little lumpy and the coffe maker was moldy inside, but everything else was great. We used the paddle boats and row boats, which was a nice change from the pool and the beach was nearby.
Great place to just relax.

Five of us stayed for two nights and brought our boat. We should have brought our cat, because she would have enjoyed it too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was prompt and courteous. Family-oriented fun place. While pet-friendly, you do not know that some guests have brought pets. There is a respectfull demeanor amongst the guests. On a quiet street, situated on lovely Green Pond, you will definitely sleep well. The pool was ridiculously clear and clean. There is a full size pool and a kiddy pool about a foot deep. Nice landscaping. Big decks overlook the small private beach and pond, which connects to Vineyard Sound. Picturesque. For boaters, this place is a real find. You can use their private launch and dock your boat at the hotel, or use a town launch about a mile away. Trailer parking for your boat. This is a very unique little gem of the Cape. Price is just right. Highly recommended.

A spur of the moment decision to spend a few nights away with my 8 year old daughter and our new shelter border collie led us to find this little oasis! We arrived with bikes and bathing suits and the hopes that we had blindly picked the right hotel from dozens online. It was Far more than we had imagined! The poolside room was clean, comfortable and fully equipped and allowed me and the pup to be constantly near my daughter and her dozen new little friends who lived in the beautiful, heated pool! We paddle boated, sat on the private beach, fed baby ducks and rode our bikes through the neighborhood. Owners were sooo friendly and warm! This was a truly great place to stay and I just hope that all of the rave reviews that pour in, won't hinder our ability to return again and again!
