I stayed here with my cousin, my sister and 2 nephews and we absolutely loved it. We were in Falmouth for a wedding and decided to stay for a long weekend to get some sun and sand R&R.
The cottage has a fully functional kitchen, with all the kitchen and dinnerware you'll need, whether you decide to cook or get take out. The adjoining dining area is roomy and airy with french doors leading out to a deck that's well furnished and a yard large enough for kids to run around.
The bedrooms are spacious and well lit with ample storage space. You need to bring your own linens but we were well informed on that. There are two bathrooms, which was fantastic. They were both fully stocked, and clean which was very key, as was the rest of the house. We didn't make much use of the living area, since we spent most of our time at the house on the deck or in the dining area. However, it's spacious and quite comfortable although the furnishings are dated. There were some games and books available for entertainment as well as a TV.
The house is perhaps 15min from the beach, where we spent most of our time. There was an outdoor bathroom still under construction (no construction work during our stay), which you can use to rinse off after a day at the beach.
We had friends over for brunch the day after the wedding and they were duly impressed with the cottage. We were able to easily have about 12 people for brunch.
We'll definitely be staying here when we're back in Falmouth.
