“Good, reasonably priced seafood in a family friendly environment”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

Stopped here for dinner this past weekend with my wife and toddler. At this point we eat fairly early so there was a table available right away. The restaurant had a kid's menu but as is often the case, the meals were fried food heavy with little to no vegetables offered. We chose it because we wanted a quiet seafood restaurant and in that respect it did not disappoint. While certainly not cheap, compared with the other options on the cape it was very reasonably priced. The waitress was friendly and our service was prompt and attentive. My only real issue was that the food was extremely bland (but well prepared). Looking around the restaurant we were the only folks there under the age of 60 so perhaps the food worked well for the typical crabapples customer. I would recommend this place for fresh, reasonably priced seafood in a relaxing and friendly environment.

“Great little family dining scene”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

If your on the cape and looking for home cooked food served with a smile stop by the Crabapple and if you like salmon then its a must. It is cooked to perfection. Though the floor space is small it has a homey atmosphere. one can park on either side of the restarurant. It is located on a busy street so there is no outside dinning but it is worth the stop in the summer.

“Everything homemade by one chef”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

This is my Mothers favorite restaurant and I see why. They have consistently good food, reasonable prices, and the service is always good. I have had lunch there 3 times now and it has always been good. Get there early as there is limited seating, especially in summer months. The pulled pork was excellent.

“Lots of menu items made on premises”
Reviewed 1 January 2014

We were looking for a a family friendly restaurant to have a seafood dinner; found this one very close by. We were greeted promptly and seated in the lounge area as the dining room was quite full. Kids menu offered a smaller fish fry and my grand daughter said it was very good. We all ordered seafood.....an adult fish fry, whole belly clam roll and the shining star was my seafood pie which was stocked full of scallops, shrimp and lobster in a light sauce and topped with breadcrumbs. We shared two orders of fish chowder which was also top notch (it is a little peppery). The kids wanted dessert and ordered one apple pie ala mode and the pie was another stand out....real home-made!

“Great lunch spot”
Reviewed 26 November 2013 via mobile

This never lets you down - the salads are consistently good as is the chowder. And the other lunch specials look great too - I may have to branch out!
Breakfasts excellent and I have not had dinner here but sure it is fine. Good value
