You don't have to own a house in Cape Cod to be able to afford this place! Expect a laid back crowd, friendly service and delicious seafood. That's literally all you need to know.

We were seated and waited on promptly. The menu had a wide variety with average prices for the area. The food was well prepared and the service was good. The interior had wood that dated from the 1600's that made it unique.

It felt a bit naughty sneaking in the back door with my local friend during a busy Saturday dinner service. Without any further special treatment, we were quickly seated at a central high top in the bar which suited us well as it was a prime seat for people watching between courses. Our evening consisted of beer and seafood (off the specials sheet). Our server's skill was evident in her friendly, confident management of our table. I had the two and one half pound baked stuffed lobster with coleslaw. I eschewed the offered starches in favor of a side salad which arrived fresh and green. Back to the lobster. I grew up along the New England coast eating lots of lobster. My lobster preparation at the Quarterdeck was outstanding. All meat, no discernible filler, cooked perfectly. My buddy got a shrimp and scallop over lobster ravioli special. His opinion had to wait until he was finished shoveling the food in his mouth. His words? "Real good".
The decor uses historic ship beams. All around a good meal, good friends, good place.

On our hotel's recommended list, The Quarterdeck is dimly-lit, has an atmospheric bar covered in Emergency Services Staff Shoulder patches and staffed by helpful people. Falmouth seems a bit of a tourist trap so the prices are maybe a little high for what you get, but what we did get was tasty, seemed typically American (which was the point of going there) and we enjoyed a friendly experience with other diners with whom we enjoyed a good chat.
The menu looked good and the Lobster that our neighbours had looked even better. Would go again, no problem.

Staff was really great. Kids all loved their food, which is rare.
Entree fish dishes were awesome! Worth a stop. Got to meet owner Bob who is a great guy.
