Description: For over 20 years, we've been Cape Cod's favorite location for Irish music, live entertainment, freshly prepared traditional Irish foods, and creative contemporary cuisine. Open year-round and newly renovated, we offer a wide selection of Draft Beers and feature a variety of craft brews as well. A creative menu and a terrific wine list make us the perfect spot for lunch or dinner, appetizers with friends, to listen to Irish music, or to watch the game on one of our 7 HD TVs.

It was very noisy. The food was acceptable. Service was OK. BUT - they tried to make us pay an inflated amount for the tip, charging us the party rate which was a much higher percentage. We know that tipping in the USA is quite different from the custom in England, but this was a definite rip-off because we were tourists. Incidentally, we found that this happened a number of times on our trip. Needless to say, we did not pay it, but only what we thought was reasonable. I suspect that many people would not query it. We told them we would not be going back. However, they probably rely on the fact that most tourists are moving on the next day anyway.

We stopped in to Liam Maguire's for lunch this past weekend. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was cooked perfectly. We would totally go back.

“Great atmosphere and an Irish menu”
Reviewed 1 April 2014

What more could you want? Even at lunchtime on a Saturday there were some fine musicians playing some lively Irish music. We had a burger (to do a comparative study...) and a corned beef sandwich. The burger had stout cheese - made a good burger great. The corned beef came cold, not my preference, but the friendly staff had that remedied in no time with a smile.
Dessert - oh my oh my - try their Guinness Chocolate Pudding. It will not dissappoint.

“Great Pub Atmosphere”
Reviewed 18 March 2014

Went for the live music this past weekend. Nice pub atmosphere, bouncer on site to keep the bar patrons in check. Small bar area - we got the last two seats to sit and listen to the music or we would have needed to get a table. $6+ for a pint of beer is a wee bit high.

“Need to stop here at least once on your visit”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

First, a big shout out to Elizabeth, our server, for not only excellent service but hospitality.

IF it weren't for the prices this would be a 5. $92.00 incl tip for lunch is a wee bit on the high side. Of course it's always the martinis (see picture). Even though an Irish Pub known for it's music and longstanding musician and owner Liam who still plays we found the food we ordered excellent. The bangers & mashed where both plentiful and more than worth the $16.95.

Their dinner entrees rangs from $15.95 to $22.95 Broiled Seafood Sampler (scrod, scallops, shrimp, baked potatoe & veggies). The fish & Chips checked in at $16.95 with the Irish Whiskey Steak Tips $18.95 & MaGuire's Curry at $16.95. Soups, Salads, Burgers & sandwiches are plentiful and they boast of having 19 draught beers.

There is a kids menu and numbers HD Tv's to keep one occupied. On the table is a flip chart of the numerous offerings including a historical section on the pub itself.
