“dont stay here”

This hotel has a lovely look to it from the street ,looks can be deceiving, behind the original house at some point someone added two short rows of motel like rooms. These rooms are small, noisy ,not air conditioned and pretty old. I think it has been at least twenty years since I have been in such a small bathroom . The beach around the corner is on ok town beach but not one worth driving any distance to see. The town would be a nice place to live if you were a local dentist but again not worth the drive. I can't believe how much we paid to stay here . i got stonger signal strength from two or three other wireless networks in the area sitting at the pool at the Beach Breeze, that would be a pretty easy problem to fix.
We spent some time in Nantucket on this trip it is a beautiful place. I recommend skipping this area of the Cape entirely and going to Nantucket.

My family and I stayed at the BBI the last week of Aug/09 - it was our first trip to Falmouth and we had a wonderful stay. The inn was just beautiful, very clean, very family friendly and everyone on staff was great. Our kids loved having the pool to use after a day of sightseeing or after a day at the beach and my husband and I loved having the outdoor patio to sit and relax. We didn't take advantage of the morning coffee in the kitchen, but I loved having our small kitchenette in our room - it was nice not to have to run out every time someone wanted something since we were able to keep quite a bit on hand in our room. There is also a gas grill for bbq-ing -- we didn't take advantage of that either, but it was nice to know it was there. I was worried about out room not having a/c, but as it turned out the weather was so clear and cool at night that we never missed it.

We'd love to return next summer!

This Inn provides just basic accommodation, for the price of the luxury hotel. Tiny room without air condition, we could not sleep, because it was so hot; even smaller bathroom with the shower, that either cold or hot, but never right. No shampoo provided and only one tiny bar of soup; impossible to stay in the room during day time, because it is so stuffy, hot and humid. It is located close to the beach and beach chairs and umbrellas provided for the guests.

Just returned from our 2nd summer vacation at the BBI. Our family of 3 (including our 12y/o),had another wonderful stay at the inn. If you are looking for simple charm and a place where you feel you have known the innkeepers for ever, then the Beach Breeze is the place for you. Walt, Don, Brett and of course the ever so friendly Oatz (the dog) are warm and eager to please. As so many others have mentioned, you can not find a more convenient place to stay. Although the days were quite warm we seemed to have managed not having any AC at night. My daughter already informed me that we will be returning again next year!!

there is a cute little shop in falmouth that sells replica memorabilia from the 50's and 60's and this place is a throwback to those times. Its a beautifully restored old beach house about 70 yards from the start of Surf Drive beach. Its location is perfect in that its on a relatively quiet road yet its only 10 minutes walk to the main st . Sure it has limited a/c and some of the bathrooms are not exactly walk in tile and glass but it is very well maintained and very clean. There are some nice touches eg morning newspapers in the kitchen with your coffee, and beach chairs buckets and spades you can borrow to bring to the beach. Be aware that it is byob - as in bring your own breakfast! This actually works fine as there is a nice communal kitchen with coffee on tap and each room has a small fridge - half the time our kids dont eat hotel breakfasts anyway and there is an excellent shop nearby or Betsys Diner if your cholesterol levels are low.
The personal touch makes this place and Walt is a very helpful host, - its as near as you will get to a home away from home even down to the occasional apearance of the owners dog a lovable mutt called Oatz. Long may you run.

Falmouth is nothing new to us as we've been running the Falmouth Road Race for the past 25 years, always sharing a rented home with extended family. As our extended family venture on to new vacations, Falmouth is always a definite for us each August and now with just the four of us, we thought we'd do the "inn" thing and of course, The Beach Breeze Inn comes right to mind as the perfect location and accomodating to both an 8 year old and 16 year old! When we go on vacation we like to park the car and never get in it until we leave, and with the inn's location (steps to beach, town, short walk to MV ferry, bike path, not to mention "on the 4 mile mark" of the FRR) it was a no-brainer. We had a fabulous stay, the morning coffee (Walt even got up earlier to make it for us runners) on the porch and the pool were big hits! This is, by far, the way-to-go for a great vacation! We'll be back!

I stayed with my sister for a weekend getaway, and we had wonderful time. We were greeted by Walter who gave us a map and suggested some places to eat. He was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was right off the pool, it had a small kitchenette with a fan (AC would have been great but the fan was adequate). The beach was very close to the inn and we LOVED that they had beach chairs, beach towels, and sun screen available for the guests. Overall, wonderful time at the Beach Breeze Inn, we can't wait to go back!
