“The beach is the best”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 via mobile

Stayed here for a week for a conference and we were not disappointed. Rooms are clean and our view from the room patio overlooking the beach was terrific. Slept most nights with the door to the patio open so to hear the waves. We took several day trips to Martha's Vineyard and Provincetown which enhanced our visit. The site of the hotel is a little off the beaten path, so going to other restaurants takes a little planning.

Stayed here for 5 days for a conference. Staff was friendly and service was good. Hotel rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Its a bit worn around the edges once you get past the lobby. Beach is lovely. Restaurant is fine but very overpriced. There is almost nothing to do nearby, so unless the beach is your main goal, North Falmouth is pretty boring. It's just a residential community and its at least a 20 minute drive to any kind of village or civilization.

Room Tip: I stayed in the main building and the room was fine and spacious. I could see the ocean from my roo...

We were here in May before Memorial Day and the crowds showed up, it was a great weekend. Loved our room, very clean and great view of the ocean. The town of Falmouth was so great, lots of great restaurants and shops!! Would definitely come again.

Spent the week here for a medical conference. Place is clean, calm beach colors, open. Indoor & outdoor pool, gym, restaurants, and a beach!!! Loved breaks in conference to hang on the beach & just look at the ocean. Staff seems very helpful, food is average. Outdoor bar & restaurant as well.

Overall, looks like a nice hotel but we probably got the worst room they had. The room was small, only about a 7 foot ceiling. Three small windows set high in the wall (like in a basement) that looked out to another wall about three feet away. Room was very expensive for what we got. There was nothing in the room that described the resort itself, Cape Cod, places to see or things to do. Asked for the concierge and was told they don't have one. Front desk handed us photocopied list of restaurants and directed us to the business center where they had racks of brochures for local tourist traps. Room coffee pot didn't work. No convenient outlets to charge cell phone or iPad. Indoor and outdoor pools were nice. Restaurant on site was okay; pricey but average food. In summary, we were very disappointed with the hotel.

Room Tip: Good luck!

Great stay with a large group and kids of various ages! Loved the beach/pool combination and simplicity of accessing the beach/pool/bar/restaurants. Stay away from Reds Take Out - total rip off! Lot of money for nothing and stay away ! The sit down restaurant is OK but stay away from the take out! The breakfast buffet was terrific and service was excellent. Rooms are Ok and recently renovated - fairly clean. We asked for a cot and the cot was absolutely filthy. It was shocking that they would even consider sending that to a room at such a pretty hotel property. It looked as though someone had been sick inside the cot and they brought it to our room. That was appalling but otherwise....hotel was beautiful. They did deliver us a clean cot after we requested a replacement. The property was very clean and very family friendly. There is an inside/outside pool, fitness facility, Starbucks coffee, etc. Lots of private functions and weddings were taking place the weekend we were at the hotel. Worth the stay!

I stayed the 2nd week of June and paid pre-season rates. I wouldn't want to pay high season rates for this hotel quality. The stay was overall good. Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was clean. We had low key needs but the staff was attentive when required. Towels were always available. Staff was on hand to set up beach chairs and umbrellas during the day. We had a lobster roll at the outdoor bar and couple of beers throughout our stay. We did get charged 2 different prices for the same beer by two different people on different days. I didn't bother to find out why. Other than the outdoor bar we did not eat at the restaurant. There were conferences everyday of our visit which was only slightly intrusive. The beach is 5-star but the room is about 3-star. I can overlook this based on pre-season price. The room had dated popcorn ceiling. Furniture was old but clean. Bathroom was cheaply installed but clean and new. Water pressure and drainage were very good which is important. Our shower fixtures were misaligned resulting in a gaping hole in the shower wall. We ignored it for the 3 nights we were there. There is no luggage rack but we used the ironing board in the giant wall closet for our luggage - no problem, just be creative. Also, we were in the main building. The first impression heading to the room is the tiny dated elevator with scratched up paneling. Enlarging the elevator is expensive but surely repaneling is an easy fix to improve a first impression.
