“Pristine!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

Living in Gloucester my entire life, this beach is equal to Good Harbor Beach in my opinion! Both are very beautiful and clean. Wingaersheek is smaller with beautiful scenery. The water at this beach is warmer because it is on Ipswich Bay and has many sand bars. It is great for children because of its size and there are warm pots and rocks to climb. Clean restrooms and a concession for lunch or drinks is available for you a short walk from the soft, clean, white sand! I love this beach!!!

“Warmest water north of Craigville Beach”

This is by far my favorite beach. The water is always warmer than other beaches in the area and I like that it isn't very deep.

“Great kids beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 September 2013

Awesome beach in August lots of exploring around the rocks at low tide for the kids and adults too! July can be tricky because of the greenheads (biting flies). The freshly made salmon burger at the snack bar is fantastic! Good bathrooms and showers

“Our favorite”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2013

A little off the beaten path, but still accessible to I95. So pretty and fun for kids of all ages. Plenty of big rocks to scramble over and easy tides for swimming. Decent bathrooms and decent snack bar. Arrive EARLY! Parking lot fills early and waiting in traffic for an hour, only to be turned away, is such a bummer. Expensive parking - but aren't they all?
