Mamie's Kitchen was terrific! I had breakfast there: eggs, bacon, hash browns, and gluten free toast. This was the first time in 2 years that I had my eggs with toast, and it was wonderful. They are very aware of the needs of people with celiac disease, and the need for gluten free and segregated cooking utensils and areas. You can watch them prepare the food.
It's a simple diner-style breakfast and lunch house. The staff is pleasant and friendly.
Mamie's Kitchen is a little out of the way, on a side street right across from St. Ann's Church --look for the tall steeple near Pleasant Street and Prospect Street. (65 Pleasant Street)
