Highlight of our New England tour was a free ticket to this amazing production at a local theatre that is intimate and accessible. Checked out the program of events before getting here and found they had a free theatre event ‘Golda’s Balcony’ originally staged in 2003 I was not aware of the production but the subject intrigued me. The theatre is not large so the seating allows for all to have a good view of the stage. Loved the whole experience and would highly recommend everyone to check this out if you are in the vicinity.

We purchase a great array of Italian cookies and Ciabatta bread, all fresh, all homemade! Such a small place, but an incredible variety of baked goods, lunch selections, and Italian import goods! Absolutely charming!

The BEST COOKIES EVER! Everything is made from scratch. The bread is excellent, baguettes, cobbles, but the cookies are amazing. We buy them to serve for dessert.

We were looking for a snack after walking around Gloucester, and saw this bakery. We got there just in time to snag the last chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies in the shop. You can tell when baked goods are made with quality fresh ingredients, and these were. Too bad we got the last ones--one bite as we left the shop and I'd have turned around and gone back for more!!

We first loved their baguettes. But during our last visit to Gloucester we discovered their "Olive Branches" (a loaf with black olives) and their "Green Devils" (with green olives and peppers). Whoa! these are wonderful. However, if you would like to have them be sure to call in advance or be there when they open. My wife also loved their Cranberry scones. Once we return to Gloucester you will find us often at Alexandra's.
