“Expensively Delicious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

It was like $8 for a vanilla milk shake. It wasn't even that big. My husband and children insisted we get ice-cream here and I was not a happy camper. I'm still flabbergasted by the price, but that was one of the best damn milkshakes I've ever had. The place is very strangely decorated with peeling purple paint and old flyers on the walls - sort of decrepit in the seating area but not the food prep area. Service is slow and the place gets crowded because the ice cream is very good. I plan to never go here again, but I may get outvoted.

Terrific place for summer ice cream -- local and friendly and delicious. Everyone enjoyed it. Definitely recommended.

“The choices are sublime!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2014

With flavors like burnt sugar, goat cheese/fig, espresso/cookie and coconut lemongrass you know you've found a great little shop offering up handmade ice creams. Open late and quick to give samples, we found ourselves returning almost nightly for a sweet treat. True, the prices are high but it is Railroad Street in Great Barrington...what else can you expect?

“Good ice cream but quite pricy even for the area.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2014

There are some fun flavors to try here (ginger, mission fig, etc...) and the ice cream is good. However, the pricing is a bit out of hand for just regular old ice cream. $4 for a small cone and $9.50 for a small sundae is a bit outrageous even in 2014.
Also, some of our party wanted frozen yogurt and it was about an hour before they closed but they said they already started closing down the machines to clean them out for the night. I am not the owner but I would think the owner would rather sell more yogurt and clean the machines a bit later. Luckily, there is a frozen yogurt place around the corner so half our party was able to satisfy their yogurt craving.
