Met friends for a great meal at Cafe Adam. The service was attentive w/out being smothering and interrupting. The food was wonderful...terrific spicy gazpacho, tender beef. Definitely recommend this for a stop in the Berkshires!

Well prepared. Varied menu. Fresh ingredients. Pleasant ambiance. Good service. What more can you ask for? Our party of 5 enjoyed original appetizers, fried chick peas, bursts, and kale Waldorf salad. Entrees included scallops, steak frites, buliabaisse. Was reco by several people as the best meal around. They were right!

We made a reservation at Cafe Adam after reading a great article in the Boston Globe. We were told they only had 8:00 available, but to come early and they may be able to seat us. We went at 7:30 and they seated us immediately. The weather was lovely that evening and we sat by two large windows and enjoyed a nice breeze. We shared two appetizers - house smoked salmon and the chilled lobster plate. Both were outstanding. The lobster was absolutely delicious and was a generous portion for two to share. I had the chicken as my main meal and it was moist and very tasty with loads of fresh herbs. My husband had the steak filet and was very happy. He's a finicky steak eater, ordering mostly filet mignon, but he was very pleasantly surprised at the tenderness and flavor. For dessert we shared a wonderful berry cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. We were stuffed and very happy!

We have been to Cafe Adam many things and always enjoyed the food and setting. This time, however, the service was awful. While one expects a place like this to take on additional help during the busy summer season, the wait staff was inept and not at al welcoming. When one has a choice of many places to dine the diners should be warmly welcomed and served with appreciation. The foods remains of high quality but the poor service left us up satisfied. Hopefully they can correct this situation soon.

We've eaten at Cafe Adam when traveling in western Mass, three times in the past five years. Have loved it every time. The new location and ambience are great and the staff well trained in being attentive and professional. Glad to know we can count on this every time.
