“Late Night”
Reviewed 26 July 2012

Nice refuge for late-night diners. Walk downstairs to the tavern and avoid the sports bar at street-level.

“Will be going back to this one...”
Reviewed 9 July 2012

Taylor's is involved in the Local Hero program to purchase all their produce from local farms. As a result, the food is fresh and tasty. In fact, I would say their cole slaw is the best I have ever had! Great location, atmosphere, service... and the prices were affordable. Definitely recommend this place to anybody in the area.

“Superb”
Reviewed 7 July 2012

Taylors tavern is an amazing place to eat, with fantastic service, at an extremely affordable price, i would suggest that they should have a minor makeover, some tables have torn seating, and there is definately wear and tear throughout the restaurant, but hey, its been around for a long time, my waitress (carrisa i think it was) was extremely professional, very polite, and offered amazing service, and the food was just fantastic i also love that they have an all kids eat free as long as they are 12 and under, with an eating adult, taylors is very family oriented.and the free birthday meal, any one thing off the menu free for your birthday? LOVE it

“good, not great!”
Reviewed 30 April 2012

I took friend out for lunch, it was very cozy and charming. The staff is superb,
ordered haddock, which was average, it comes with a lot of bread crumbs, but no
lemon wedge, a bit on the dry side, no butter or anything. Roasted vegetables were
very tasty. I am a bit surprised they don't offer any bread or rolls, folks still do eat them
here and there.

Overall,

“Wish lunch had been as good as breakfast....”
Reviewed 12 April 2012

I had been to Taylor's Tavern for breakfast and had a really great food experience, so I was excited to take a friend to Taylor's Tavern for lunch. --Especially since she does not "do sandwiches", and prefers beef for her entree, so, one thing that is truly unique about Taylor's is that they offer all of the menu all day long! We were so looking forward to the Delmonico steak dinner!

Unfortunately, the whole thing was so average....Boring salad, ghastly bread wedge, a mushy baked potato, and an average steak...Why call it a Delmonico if it is going to be so average, with gristle, no less....

We hoped for the best at ordering dessert...The strawberry shortcake sounded refreshing, but that was also average, with soggy red/gray strawberries, and a dull tasting biscuit---Couldn't you do it with fresh berries for pete's sake?.....Taylor's should definitely get their bread products somewhere else---If you have great bread, most people can tolerate average food...
