“Fantastic. ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 May 2014 via mobile

We dined late on a Saturday night in the off season. We made a reservation as suggested by the hotel but we really didn't need to and we're seated and attended to right away. Our waiter was busy but attentive and available. We had wine and snacks in our room so we really just wanted a meal, this place did not disappoint. We both got pasta dishes and they were both outstanding. We got a dessert to go and we're so surprised at the huge portion when we opened the container later that evening!
Overall a great family style pub. If we had been interested in a beer or wine, the list was ample and interesting. I definitely recommend this place, even if you're not staying in the hotel. Great!

“Very Good Food, Service. Empty this time of Year”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

We wanted to go to Christiansen's last evening but found it was closed. We then found out that John Harvard's (Christiansen's and John Harvard's are both on the grounds of Jimmy Peak) was open and decided to try it instead. We rode the elevator up to the 3rd floor where the restaurant was located and it was very empty. We sat at the bar and had the entire bar and bartender to ourselves for the entire evening. There was only a couple of four other than us in the lounge. The bartender told me that they had one evening where they only served 4 last week. He said they don't start picking up until after Memorial Day and then they get really busy after the 4th of July with vacationers.

We both ordered the grilled chicken sandwiches w/fries and it was delicious. Service was captive and we had the bartender ourselves. I will definitely will return and if you want a quiet and intimate dinner, head here before Memorial Day or mid-June for sure.

“Nice Bite”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

This is a very nice place to have a bite to eat, ranging from quick bar food to a really nice dinner. We sat at the bar as it was quite crowded. The bartender was very helpful. He made a few suggestions and even gave us a sample of the soup of the day. I had a really good quesadilla and my husband had fish and chips, also very good. The last time I ate here was with my daughter, about a year ago and I still remember the awesome trout almandine we had. Might have been a special, but would have it again if offered. It was a fun place for a nice meal.

“Good Variety, Nice atmosphere excellent service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 March 2014

This is a great place to have a meal or two when staying in Jiminy VIllage. The options are solid from Appy's, to soups to salads to entrees all having a variety and having eaten twice there during the stay show solid kitchen skills. Recommended.

“Good food for the family”

After a long day of skiing, John Harvard's tasted good. They were able to accommodate a large party of 21 with lots of kids. Nice service.
