This was our first stay at the Bluefish B&B and not our last. Lori and Tim are gracious hosts. The breakfasts prepared by Tim were outstanding. Our room was well furnished, clean and comfortable. A delightful experience, and as Arnold said, "I'll be back".

We picked this B & B cold, never having stayed here before or had it recommended to us, so we were so pleased as we drove into the parking lot and saw the beautiful yard and the lovely old Victorian. We let ourselves into the back entrance and then to our room, as per directions from Lori earlier since they were going to be in and out all day, and we loved our room and bath! After a great night's sleep we were extremely surprised to be presented with a beautiful and delicious gourmet breakfast prepared by a gourmet chef - Tim, our innkeeper! (We missed that part in our research of this place!) The coffee, specially named for this place. was rich and flavorful and organic! Absolutely heavenly dining! Tim and Lori and their furry son were charming and disarming hosts. Can't wait to return and spend much more time enjoying this lovely oasis!

Green Features: Loved the organic and locally purchased high quality breakfast ingredients! These things are very important to us!

We came to stay here because our first choice was booked. The Bluefish B & B has now risen to the top of our list. The value for the price is excellent and, as other reviewers have posted, the breakfasts are outstanding. The location is convenient but quiet and the home is lovely. Lori and Tim are perfect hosts. Anyone looking for cutsie-antiquey style in the room will not find that here. The rooms here give off the warm vibe of a real home; not perfectly styled but clean and comfortable. We especially liked the separate sitting area. The bathroom a few doors down is not a problem since it is modern and private. We look forward to returning.

Tim and Lori are great hosts for our stay at their bed and breakfast, The Bluefish Inn. We loved our time! Classy, updated room, with a comfy bed! Delicious, gourmet breakfasts, made from locally sourced ingredients. Tim and Lori are knowledgeable about the area and seem to enjoy giving advice about the best places to see and enjoy!

I spent an outstanding early-October weekend at the Bluefish, and the B & B experience exceeded all expectations. Every aspect of the Bluefish is handled with incredible professionalism that is completely surprising and delightful in such an intimate place. The historical house is perfectly updated and meticulously maintained. The food is innovative, first class, local and delicious. (Tim’s a fulltime professional chef in a top nearby restaurant.) Lori’s hospitality is really welcoming and gracious without intruding on guests’ personal experiences. The online communications during reservation and prior to arrival were complete, helpful and friendly to a fault—really made me want to get there. All aspects of my stay from self check-in to facilities to meals to flexible checkout were so smooth that it was clear that Lori and Tim have mastered their roles and really like what they’re doing. Staying at the Bluefish was so pleasant I could easily have just enjoyed being at the house and forgotten the plans that brought me to Harwich.

Recently spent two nights at the Bluefish B&B. Choice was made entirely based on reading other reviewers comments. This was a Grand slam as it was better than expected. Reasonably priced, great room with just right mattress and a sitting room where I could get up and read in the early hours without disturbing the wife. Bathroom in the hall was no problem as it was exclusive to us. Breakfast was a super treat and I would tell anyone to go there for this alone. Tim is really into preparation and presentation. In fact, only after we made inquiries as to his talent he confessed to being a chef at the Bistro on Main in town. Loving Bistros we went and had a fantastic dinner there. It was painful digging into breakfast because it was just so beautiful. We greatly appreciated Tim and Lori's advice and suggestions as to where to go and what to see and we did some great bike rides and beach trips because of them. Private entrance to our second floor rooms was also nice touch. Being dog lovers we enjoyed visits from Tie-Tie only after they checked with us as I am sure not everyone has an affinity for dogs. All in all, just a very very pleasant getaway, one we hope to repeat.

Green Features: Tim & Lori are very involved with the local food scene as well as very green oriented.

This has been our most outstanding B&B experience to date. Welcoming hosts, Tim and Lori were hospitable and gracious. They were very flexible with the self-check-in process and even allowed us an extended check-out! (We were there to run the Harwich Half Marathon and wanted to be able to come back for our things afterward.) They maintain a lovely home that perfectly accentuates the New England/Cape Cod history of this uber quaint town. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms - everything is decorated with such attention to detail. Breakfast was fabulous - Tim is an outstanding chef and they cook with local (i.e., out of their garden) ingredients. His buckwheat waffles alone are a reason to visit Harwich! Hope to be able to stay here again in the future!
