We booked late in the game, and I found this place on Trip Advisor with all the great reviews. I will say that the staff is friendly, the inn is clean, and the spot is terrific. They were nice on the phone and I knew that the room we were getting was going to be small for us, but it was my own fault for not having my plans together far enough in advance. With that in mind, I will say for future bookers, that we were a couple with one 13-year old in tow,& the room we were in was tough for 3 people. It was two double beds in one small room with a tiny bath and it was tight. I was a little uncomfortable sleeping since the beds were close together and the cover of the a/c unit, which was right next to the second bed, kept coming off leading to noise and a big gale of cold air. Had I booked earlier, I would have requested room 19 or 20 (I think these are the right numbers), which are these larger rooms in a mini house off the main inn, right on the sand. Free breakfast is available in a room right off a nice deck which is a step off a powdery, sandy & private beach. The beach is beautiful and one could walk a long way on it end to end. I loved the mornings on this stretch, with the ducks and sand pipers. This Inn is right next door to a public beach which gets super crowded on a nice day; the people can encroach on your space both physically and also in terms of the noise, so if absolute serenity and privacy is your wish, probably want to either camp off to the right for the day or find a spot farther from the public access.
