“Hingham Shipyard Panera”
Reviewed 5 March 2014

There is a HUGE difference in the quality of food and service between the Panera at Derby Street Shoppes and at the Panera at the Shipyard. The Derby Street Shoppes Panera is a franchise, the Shipyard Panera is a corporate-owned store. I stay away from Derby Street, which is badly managed and the food is awful. My only complaint about the Shipyard Panera was that during a weekend visit at a very busy time, the management allowed a woman to occupy two tables while she worked on her computer, are food she brought in from outside (took it out of her bag) and did not step in to accommodate their paying customers.

“Meh”
Reviewed 8 June 2013

What started out as an exciting new approach to light food has ended up right in the middle. The fool is fresh and tastes good. Feels like a cafeteria getting the food. I hope the management does something innovative to raise the bar, but they seem to be sticking to their model. There are many equally good lunch places around. But, if you're stuck, it's a decent plate of food.
