Greetings,
I would say that my stay at D Hotel was average. The room was clean and basic. The cable TV stations were VERY limited, There was a coffee-make in the bathroom, and the room was well-lit. I ordered room-service and had to send a portion of it back - rubbery cold calamari & cold fries & burger. I assumed that the room service was from the Mick next door - the pub of the Delaney House restaurant - part of D Hotel. However, as some whom has dined at the Delaney House/Mick, it was apparent that the room service food was just microwaved frozen food. There was a pool but it was crowded with 25+ rowdy people - my young daughter attempted to swim but was pushed aside. The breakfast was adequate. The scrambled eggs were tasty, as was the crispy bacon, but it was a bit disappointing to have lukewarm coffee from an insulated thermos. All and all the stay was pleasant, but overpriced for the services & amenities - or lack there of. More like a $75 + taxes hotel.

We regret that your room service did not live up to your previous dining experiences at the Delaney House. All food order items are prepared next door and brought over to the hotel. We also want everyone to enjoy the indoor pool and above all be safe. If our staff was made aware of any situation in the pool they would have resolved it on the spot. We strive to provide first class guest service and we would like the opportunity to earn your business again in the future. Thank You for taking the time to review us we will learn from your experience. --cheers!

Stayed here with the family because it was connected to the venue that my grandson was using for his wedding. The room was quite large and very nice and comfortable. However, just before we got there, there was a power outage that had just been fixed. This caused the telephone system to be down and it was never fixed during our stay. (Good thing we all have cell phones to get in touch with each other.) We were on the 5th floor so had to take the elevator which was very, very slow. Not only that, if people were getting off and you were slow getting on, the doors closed and that meant having to wait again for the very, very slow elevator. The restaurants were closed for the holiday at the hotel which meant we had to do some driving to find a place to eat. The breakfast was just so-so. The hotel staff were not very helpful. My son had ordered an extra bed for his room for his son, and they delivered the bed but no bedding. My grandson finally had to go down at 11:00 p.m. to the desk to get the bedding. A brunch was served in the restaurant area the day after the wedding and it was quite good and the wait staff there were very pleasant and attentive.

Thank You for taking the time to let us know about your experience. We are sorry you did not have a good experience in our pool area. We take pool safety very seriously and if a front desk team member is aware of a situation in the pool area it is resolved immediately. We want everyone to have a safe and fun time. We also apologize that you had to come down to the lobby for bedding. That is completely inexcusable and we will not make any excuses. We will learn from your experience and we know that if we are fortunate enough to earn your business again in the future you will no longer think of us as an average hotel. --Cheers!

As regular travelers from Cleveland to Boston we usually stop in Albany, NY, but opted to go a little further. Booked this hotel through Hotwire, so we got a great deal - better than we ever got in Albany. Although it's 15-20 minutes from the Mass Pike, if you have the time, it's definitely worth it.
They call themselves a boutique hotel, and you definitely get that feel in the lobby area. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is better than the usual fare you get a breakfast included hotels.
We also ate at Delaney's Grill next door. Love the convenience of having a restaurant so close, and very happy with our meal.

I was at first a bit concerned about staying at the hotel. I had a few interactions over the phone with the staff there and my first impression was that the staff were a bit lackadaisical in their attitude. After a few schedule adjustments, I was able to spend one night at the D Hotel. That was a right choice. All of the staff with whom I had conversation and interaction were excellent. The room was quite nice and the breakfast buffet was a cut or two above what you get at chain hotels. In short, I was very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for my daughter's orientation at UMass Amherst. Very nice and clean property, large rooms, friendly and accomodating staff. Plus, the hotel has a very nice restaurant/bar on site, which was extremely convenient and the food was better than average. Hotel is also conveniently located. I tried to re-book for parent's weekend and it's already sold out. I would definitely stay here again each and every time I'm in the area, which will be often since I have four more years to go! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

All the rooms I have stayed in are of high quality and comfortable.
They truly make you feel like home. The pub and restaurant next door are a added bonus.
The grounds are beautifully maintained.
the only place we stay when in that area.
