We were cheked in by a wonderful girl name Gina. She was very friendly and gave us a nice room with a king size bed. She showed us where the pool and hot tub were. They both were very clean and the temperature of the indoor pool was very comfortable. She explained checkout times and offered to assist in helping us find a nice place to eat in the area. She made both my wife and I feel very comfortable and I will go back again for another stay soon.

We were part of a small group that stayed at the Heritage Hotel the last weekend in April. The Front desk staff tried to help us, and the rooms were clean. The first floor area by the pool was undergoing renovations. The restaurant was understaffed and the wait staff was in need of training. My server had no idea of the concept of serving one table all of the food at the same time. Our server brought out the main course first and the side dishes after we had finished the entree. The breakfast servers were just rude and stressed For what ever reason the hotel tolerated unruly guests and allowed a midnight basketball game to take place in the hotel corridors, keeping most of us awake to the wee hours of the morning. When we complained to the hotel they were unresponsive. When we sent our comments to the tour company the comments were forwarded to the GM. Today we received the GM's response. What a rarity, the hotel accepted responsibility: for the bad food, the bad service, and the noise, with a plan of action to fix the problems, so that other guests do not have the same experience. You have to support a hotel that knows they have a problem and takes corrective action. Once the restaurant staff is trained and additional security is added the challenges of this hotel should go away. If you asked me yesterday would I return to the hotel the answer was no, after reading the GM's letter I would say the hotel deserves a second chance.

Fantastic location. Rooms are spacious. Restaurants are well within walking distance. I had a leg brace and made the trip with little problems. A place that provides a gret breakfast and fast service. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Very proud of their area and go the extra mile to make the visit a remarkable. High on my list.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the main floor. Close for those that have a walking problem.

I was staying here for a business trip- the staff was friendly, the roomers were cleaner than expected, and it was a nice time. I wish the restaurant/bar was open week round, and that it was a bit closer to major businesses, but overall it was great value!

My golf group and I have been playing golf every Good Friday for the past 25 years. For the past 10 or so we have been making our arrangements with Jan @ the Heritage House. Jan provides the greatest service and value for our money. We are normally a group ranging from 30 to 50 golfers. Jan makes all the arrangements for golf and meals; they are all flawless. The hotel puts out great appetizers (try the wings-fabulous) for us before dinner on Thursday. We start Thursday night with a spectaclar prime rib dinner in Chauncey's grill. I travel for alot business and have a broad sample to compare to. This is one of the best prime rib dinners I have ever had! The bartender is like an old friend. The hotel is very clean and serviceable with a nice pool and hot tub. Each morning we have an excellent full serve breakfast. The staff is great.

Room Tip: Contact Jan directly for golf and travel packages. Try the British Brewing Company (Hyannis) the Br...

When we first arrived there I thought, what a dump. When I got to know it, it wasn't that bad. It's not luxury, but pretty good for the Hyannis area. The rooms are small and for some reason every room is small but has 2 beds. There are no microwaves but small fridges. There are two pools and a hot tub. What I will say is that most people don't spend much time at a hotel so the location does contribute a lot of good remarks towards the hotel. The hotel is right on Main St. which is amazing. Overall it's an average, but for Hyannis it's actually pretty good.

Brilliant location for Cape Codders! A must if you are without car as it seems to be the busiest high street with the most restaurants etc.

The hotel itself is ideally located within walking distance to the ferries and the high street. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and always very keen to help with good local knowledge. The rooms were nothing special but clean which is most important! I would recommend this hotel to people, as long as they did not want anything special.
