We stopped by without a reservation and not really dressed for the occasion, but we received a warm welcome (after a bit of shuffling around by the host staff - you would have thought they were heaving at the seams by the way they had to think about it, before showing us to a table in a half-empty restaurant!). Slightly more formal than we really wanted at the time, but we were swayed by the excellent wine list and food. We had the steak and vegetarian Wellington, which were both cooked very well and the best clam chowder all holiday! Lovely waitress who made us feel at home. Happy to recommend.
