“Disappointed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

The menu looked good online so we went here for lunch. Unfortunately, the execution of the dishes was not impressive, especially for the price. The fact that they gave no refill on iced tea was a little surprising, too. The place seems like it really doesn't know what it wants to be, so I guess the name (the first word in Spanish, the second in French/Spanish and the third in Italian) fits.

“The finer diner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2014

My husband and I stopped here for lunch after visiting the Kennedy museum across the street and were not disappointed. The cuisine is Educadorean and Galapagos, which we'd never had, and the food was excellent. My husband had the Pollo Galapagos (chicken over rice) and I had the Guisado Pollo (chicken stew). The portions were generous. They call themselves "the finer diner," and it shows. The decor is nothing fancy -- it's definitely a diner with a twist.

One note: they don't seem to have refills on soft drinks (you get a can and a glass of ice). It's a minor quibble.

“Wonderful Experience and Food!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 April 2014

My wife and I visited from Colorado and needed a place to eat. We found this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic for both the adults and kids with a wonderful selection. The staff was very hospitable and overall experience a plus. I plan to stop there again during my next visit!!!

“Great Lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 September 2013

Stopped here for lunch while visiting Main Street in Hyannis. They call themselves the "Finer Diner", they got that right! I ordered a cheese burger that was awesome and my husband order the chicken parm sandwich, which was also awesome. Would definitely revisit again when in Hyannis.

“On the Resource List”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 September 2013

This Restaurant was Cafe e Dolci prior to becoming Vista De Mare. The prices are reasonable, the food tasty, atmosphere comfortable, waitstaff helpful. They changed the menu a bit, keeping the favorites and adding more options.

I had the Fruta de Mare which was very, very good and quite alot of food. Lobster was even added to the generous types of fish already in this dish. My friend had the Eggplant Parm which was also good but I must say that there was to much skin making it hard to cut.

They serve breakfast and lunch as well. Stop in. Check it out.
