Thank you, Jill! You were wonderful to work with and you made everything comfortable and easy. The cottage was ideal! My daughter and I stayed in 6B for several days and found it to be the perfect place. The cottage was roomy, clean and well equipped. The location was perfect, easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. My family came over for dinner one evening and raved about the cottage and its grounds. They inquired about staying there later this year. I know my family and I will return. I highly recommend Captain Gosnold's Village. Thanks again Jill!
This little bungalow set almost of the end of Sea Street in Hyannis was the perfect base for our short stay on Cape Cod. The owners have gone to a great deal of trouble to create a seaside, nautical theme and we loved the peace and quiet.
The weather was disappointing and prevented us spending more than an hour on the lovely beach, which is literally seconds away from the door.
However, we made the most of the wet day by visiting the interesting little JFK museum in Main Street.
We also drove the short distance to the port where we caught the Hy-line ferry to Nantucket for a splendid day out.
All in all, we would highly recommend this clean, tidy and cosy retreat.
Had a lovely stay, compact property with everything in. We were a family group so didn't mind family members using bathroom ensuite during the night but this may not suit everyone. Well knitted out with beach chairs, freezer packs etc.
Unfortunately on 3rd night smoke/fire alarm went off at 3.15am.This was hard wired to adjacent property. After looking around and trying contact numbers - we left an answering message on agents 'phone - we had no choice but to dial 911 for firefighters. They arrived and shortly afterwards someone from agency turned up with keys, we had no idea someone would get the message during the night. All was well and caretaker says it often happens.
Both owner and agent contacted in the morning and owner said detectors would be replaced over winter. Alls well that ends well! Even though we had contact numbers on information pack we Would suggest that a clear notice is provided prominently with emergency numbers and what happens when they are called.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in this cottage. We stayed on the Cape on our honeymoon. This cottage was absolutely perfect. It was quite and clean. The owners made sure there were adequate supplies. I was pleasantly surprised to find things we needed but forgot supplied for us there (coffee filters and bandages). The only thing we needed to buy was our food. These owners know how to treat vacationers. I highly recommend renting from them. I without reservation recommend this vacation spot.
We enjoyed our stay in cottage 6b last week. It was small but fine for 2 people. Great central location close to restaurants, shops and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Also close driving distance to Provincetown, Chatham and lots of other nearby towns. Only steps to the beach which you can see from front deck!
